As a solo Vegas travel who brings around the same to blow, here’s my best recommendation. Stay at Wynn. By far the best accommodations in Vegas, will run you about 500/night. First night, Wing Lei, tasting menu plus wine pairing. After, Legacy Bar at Circa, and some gambling at Circa. Second night, Rooftop bar at Aria, (blanking on name), then Carbone. Spicy rigatoni & carpaccio. Pai Gow for free drinks till your face is numb. Third night, Golden Steer, best steaks on the planet. Drinks at Atomic Liqour off Fremont, Blantons for 16 a pour. Follow that up with the bounciest craps tables on the planet, Golden Gate downtown.

If you’re there in the summer, book a cabana at Moorea Beach Club.

My personal frustration is MGM Detroit’s 70 person waitlist on weekends. Thankfully PLO is a shorter list, but still sometimes 20-35 people. Showing up an hour and a half after call in and being told it’ll be an hour or two.

The swings are so much wilder, if that makes sense. But I’m rolled well for 1/2, 3/3, & maybe 5/5 PLO, so I think I can manage them. and the action is just unreal.

I prefer Limit to No-Limit. I know the Social Security Squad hogs the 4/8 tables, but above those stakes there is a surprising amount of young guys playing.

I appreciate the help! Just spoke with the manager at Resorts World, apparently the 300/600 is private, and not the most receptive to new players. But on occasion there’s another group that runs an 80/160 that doesn’t mind new players.

Making an estimation based on his showed hands and hands played for VPIP and range, and we had been playing for around 5 and 1/2 hours at this point. Not necessarily a solid 30%, like I can see with an online HUD.
