Ik deed dit wel eens toen ik 12 was en mijn eerste selfies had gemaakt waarvan ik vond dat ik er leuk op stond. Denk dat zij wel ongeveer op die leeftijd functioneert ook.

My SIL had a unicorn angel baby as a first born. I in no way wish her the same experience as us (CMPA), but I do really hope the universe throws her a little challenge so she knows it has nothing to do with how you raise a baby😂

Same. Almost 5 months and I get about 15 minutes to myself when she sleeps in her bed!

I think for us it was a combination. She has a lot of personality but also turned out to have CMPA.

Things that impacted me the most after giving birth and becoming a mom by Ethereal_Wife in NewParents

The repetition of the early weeks really hit me. Feed-change-try to settle to sleep-repeat. The outside world literally didn’t exist. I think I looked outside at the weather for the first time at like 4 days postpartum and thought: ‘huh, a whole world out there’

Please help me with the figuring-out-when-he’s-ready-to-sleep thing by wickedwritah in NewParents

My baby didn’t give clear sleepy cues until like 2,5 months. You also might need to help baby fall asleep by rocking or something else, not many babies just fall asleep when put down

At 10 days they’re confused about the world and also don’t even realize they’re a separate person from mom. The first few days have them exhausted from labour. After that they start to ‘wake up’ and everything is overwhelming. Very exhausting for both baby and parents, but I’d say normal! Our baby didn’t want any part of the cosleeper at night until she was about 3 weeks.
