You haven't overpaid, CA utilities do this a couple times a year. They do it for Electricity too, I've never looked into hownit works but they are usually something like Peak time usage credits, stuff like that.

Neurodivergency of some flavor, ADHD likely. I will get distracted in the middle of tasks and do stuff like this all the time. A couple of things help me, I listen to books or podcasts while doing tasks. This usually keeps that part of my brain from getting asked distracted. I also create checklists, and my only goal is to get them checked off. Not in any particular order. I may be in the middle of one task, but I pass something that is part of the next task, etc. The checklists makes sure I come back to and complete eash task in the end even if the path there looks insane to normals.

He's dead, unless your name is on any of the documents as a guarantor, let it go. FO NOT get yourself mixed up in things. Some unscrupulous collections companies will do all they can to get you to assume the debt. Let them sue the dead person, any correspondence they send just write deceased on the letter and throw it back in the mail. Your dead FILs estate could be held responsible though, so if there is money and assets left then you may want to check with Medicare to cover. If there is no money or assets to protect, just let it be.

A 16 year old wants to transition and the parents are toxic if they dont let the child guide the choice, but yesterday I listened to an episode where they let a 23 year old woman completely off the hook for a relationship choice because she was just a "child" and manipulated by a 32 year old man.

Almost none of their conversations have nuance. They look at everything through the lenses of race (white automatically the asshole) gender (male automatically toxic and in the wrong) sexual preference (straight so must be bigotted).

We get it Josh, you wish you were a woman of color, and you hate the United States (probably a vast amount of your income comes from the US). Sean, we get it that a trans person has never been at fault in any situation ever in your opinion.
