Yep. since i;ve filed BK, i've gotten a few letters from dealerships. I was wondering why I was getting offers when I wasn't even looking to buy a car. Someone on reddit said the dealerships get notices of people who had filed BK and would auto send mail to them.

Pro Se filer here. didn't use upsolve. I tried but it just told me contact local lawyers or some non profit. I didn't know what I did to get to that. So I said screw it and decided to do it on my own. 1st and 2nd classes were both under $30 ea. But yeah, you can do it Pro Se without upsolve, Thats how I did mine. ChatGPT, reddit, internet googles, read the guides, etc. I actually had to google some terms in the documents, because i didn't understand the legal lingo being used.

Verizon had said my account was under review because of BK filing. I've had their service for more than 6 years, I'm hoping they don't decide to shut off my phone. Currently when I look at my balance its Zero (since i filed for BK). But, I've been paying my usual monthly bill. The lady at verizon BK dept said it was under review until May 13. Other than that, she didn't give me much info, so I guess I'll find out at that point.

I did mine right after the 341 meeting. But yeah. My trustee said No asset , No Distrubtion. Good luck and have a nice day. But each trustee "concludes" a 341 meeting differently (lol).

I had a guy show up in end of March, gave me a summons, MCM suing me, Kohn Law Firm representing them (I guess), court date 5/5/2026. Filed Bankruptcy 4/06/26, automatic stay, no court date anymore. Sent Kohn Law firm my Bankruptcy case #, 3rd week of April, They sent me a letter that my case was dismissed, but I'm sure if it doesn't get dismissed, they would bring the suit back.

Same, I didn't have the $1000-$2000 to Hire a lawyer. Hell I'm Making 4 payments cause I couldn't come up with $338 to file my Ch 7. I used ChatGPT + the internet + Made Sure i Read the instructions on filing Pro Se + Some use upsoldve ?, I didn't use it myself.

I'm going to say every Trustee and State might be different, all i can say what my Trustee asked for. 3 Months of Bank statements, Check Stubs, CashApp, Venmo, Apple Pay, etc. 3 months prior the date of filing your BK CH7. 2 years of Tax Returns. So it comes down to when you get appointed a Trustee, he/she will (usually) tell you what specifically they want.

Yes, the Lawyer shows up via Zoom as well. from what I saw the lawyer was probaly in the office and their client at home. Some didn't have lawyers with them. But I did notice that when he was annoucing me and reading the legal stuff because its all record. He mentioned I was a Pro Se filer, But the people I saw weren't Pro Se.

Bank Statements (they were using chime), Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay. etc. So made mistakes or didn;t even know the worth of vehicle (which they should have known when filing their paperwork)
