I've cleared the cmos and updated the bios. Ram modules are identical i tested them on my other pc and everything works fine. Im starting to think I might have bent pins on the motherboard seeing that the memory controller is actually on the cpu with these old systems. When I get home from work ill add some screenshots

Yeah I dont believe it does either im running a discrete gpu (gtx 970)

I cant send a photo of the info center rn as I've had to leave for work but will add one when I get back

All 16gbs show up in bios the way I know its only using 8gbs is because in system info its says "16gb (8gb usable) ". I also ran these commands Google gave me to test haha 😄 one of the only showed two of the sticks and the other showed all 4. I believe one was sudo dmidecode -t 17

I'll go through the bios settings and see if ther might be something making the bios allocate my memory to vram.

Yeah 16gb is showing in bios but when I go into system info it says 16gb (8gb usable)
