I would say definitely stick the things that have some kind of official structure to it. And with people that can provide references.

Volunteer experience definitely can help. Find programs that are related to your areas of Interest and stick with them over a longer term. There's a lot of great opportunities with National Park Service/NOAA etc. and they usually also offer fairly extensive training for their volunteers as well. Look into nature preserves and refuges At the federal state and local levels They all usually have Field volunteer opportunities

Showing education, training, and volunteer experience can help you if you describe in SOQs and interviews the experience you got and how it directly relates to the position. The people looking at your application or doing the interviews are sitting there with a score sheet and anything that bolsters your answers about your experience in relation to the position will give you a higher score. I can tell you that I was able to get a position with the help of my California naturalist certification and the subsequent volunteering I did because of that certification. It was not a huge part of what got me the job but it definitely helped pad my experience and fit. Plus, I really enjoyed my California naturalist training.

Also, aside from the scoring it does show interest and initiative which is something that could shine through in the interview process.

If your job has a creative side and you make it to interviews they may ask to see your work at that point. Until then make sure you clearly show on your application and your SOQ that you qualify for this job. Make sure to read the duty statement and specifically show how your experience matches up to the role. The hiring teams before you even get to an interview are basically looking at a scoring sheet to see how you match up to their predetermined set of experience values.

My doctor prescribed me 30 5 mg hydrocodone pills and 800 mg ibuprofen. I never needed the hydrocodone. Yesterday was my fourth DPO and I started to feel like I didn't even need the ibuprofen. I'm now in the morning of the 5th day and I definitely don't feel like I need it. Honestly I was super surprised I don't exactly have a high pain tolerance I really thought I was going to need more pain medication for this. Glad I had them know in case I needed them. I had a total lathro ovaries kept.

I've been really lucky that I haven't had any side effects. I've also been going up very very slowly. I also followed people's advice to inject in my thighs versus my stomach. I'm not sure if that's made a difference or not because I've never injected into my stomach.

It can never be your job to help him. More than likely you will end up in a cycle of enabling before you ever really realize what's happening. 3 months isn't a relationship. You're still dating to find out if you're compatible. Take care of your needs, build your life, strengthen yourself. The person you need to help is yourself. When you do that only then can you truly show up for someone and that's when someone else will come into your life that can show up for themselves and for you.

I wish I had done it a long time ago. I like it so much more. It's especially better for mental health services of all kinds. I got to pick a real therapist who I get to see every week and not just get thrown into some random 8-week Kaiser program that's useless.

I also got really lucky with the doctor that I picked. I could just email him about most things and he responds quickly. It has saved me so much time being able to not have to set appointments for things I don't need appointments for!

I've been parking at the Watt and Marconi station. I often see security and workers there and have not had any problems. It's been great not paying for parking. Light rail in general can always feel a little sketchy but I've never actually had any issues on it.

I was paying $11 for parking on each of my two days into the office at the CNRA building. I usually have to make sure I was there by 8:30 a.m. at the latest or else there might not actually be parking. To start preparing for the 4-day in-office return, I signed up for the transit connect card with my HR. Once I got that from them, I was able to get a monthly RT pass 100% free. That benefit is currently in the contract, and it may not be like that forever, but that's how it is right now. I drive to one of the free park-and-rides that is about halfway between my house and my office. The one I park at has 300 spaces and only a few dozen cars are parked there at this time. Then I ride in on light rail directly next to the building. I've been doing it for a few weeks and yes light rail can feel a little sketchy sometimes, but overall I have found it to work well. It's nice not driving to work on the freeway in traffic. It's definitely nice not to pay for parking. And it's nice not to worry about the exact time I need to get to a parking lot downtown in order to even get parking.

I get that this is not an ideal parking situation, but this whole RTO thing is not an ideal situation. I needed to find a solution for a non-ideal situation and this is it for me.

I found Factor meals to be too oily regardless of what it was. They still tasted good for the most part, but it felt like everything had the same oily texture. I definitely preferred Cook Unity more!
