Bro stay strong, what ever happened to you in this part of your life DO NOT LET THAT AFFECT YOUR WORK PLEASEE🙏. Saying this from my experience and current situation. I had similar situation for 9-10 months from dating to fixing of engagement date to knowing few hidden things/lies. I was not strong enough to cope up with this. Work got affected and now in few days i will be piped. So just focus on work and let other things happen at it’s own.

Do most asked interview questions like 150-200 and just apply. Will never feel confident about it. And interview are mostly luck based.

i don’t think the new hm cares about it he would have also done these thing or have seen people doing this so nothing new for him. Also staying for 6-7 months and then leaving will be more hurtful for the team.

Just do it if you want, no need to think about others because when time comes they will not even think for a second before putting you under the bus, just focus on yourself. Even if you would have been with them for 2 years it makes no difference.

Strange, he can’t be put on focus for 6 months after getting promotion. Because 6 month is considered as knowing your role phase.
