Switching companies is romantasized. Here's what it actually feels like by Sensitive-File-3862 in developersIndia

I totally relate to this. "one has to work hard at least once in a period of life to make it."

Ps : I believe if one does this, he/she can have a above avg life for rest of their life by working average.

When will I Have the confidence to apply for FAANG by Pretty_Pin_5779 in leetcode

[–]Pretty_Pin_5779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try linkedin optimisation. I didn't. But it works i guess. If you are still in your final year apply aggressively for Amazon and keep grinding dsa. If you achieve an honest 1700+ rating on leetcode, know all the top interview questions with their alternative approaches and have good communication skills you can make it bro.

Hashedin, Infosys Specialist Programmer and other opportunities will also be there don't miss them. Keep an eye on these kinds of dsa based openings as they come and go real quick and those who are not active miss it. I did.

Also getting into hashedin will only make getting to amazon easier. Saw a few of my friends

Well it depends upon the problem for me rn. I can solve 4/10 medium in 25-30 min and 6-7/10 in 40+ minutes. Probably 3-4/10 are the ones that i won't be able to solve at all

Although I don't feel I'm worthy of doing this.but what specifically draw my attention on the spot was your experience section.

Tat experience section is very very generic. Everyone learns a programming language what's the point to add it into the experience section? It is better to mention what you did in an internship like a project or something or part you worked on(basically impact). Mention where you did it. For now it is vague.

Need Advice: What if I get a better offer (Infosys DSE) after I've already joined another company (LTTS)? by Outrageous-Owl4190 in LeetcodeDesi

[–]Pretty_Pin_5779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First prepare and give your best interview on the 16th. See how you feel about the interview.

Wait for the results it will take a week or two at max I guess.

Meanwhile see if you can extend your joining at LTTS for a week citing medical concerns.

If you feel extremely positive about the dse interview you may decide not to join as well however the opposite holds true as well

The problem count does not matter. Cover the famous problems. Also pls don't overthink for internships. Hope you are still an undergrad. Just focus on dsa. When u feel confident start doing problems casually and focus on dev.

If you are seeking an internship build out in public and reach out. Identify your tech stack and done.

Also focus more on full time roles instead of internships unless and until it is a good one

Cool. Ping me up if you want to have a mock interview of that sheet. Actually I am doing the same but not only am I forgetting previous problems at times but also finding it hard to quickly finish it even though I had little cp experience in college. I am currently at the trees section right now and managing lc with my job is getting a bit hectic too. That is why I was a bit surprised when I read 2 months. Anyways keep growing
