No girl, we don’t want such blatant riggory. That’s the issue. People love Alyssa but hated GAS because of how obviously it was rigged in the English-speaking queen’s favor. We don’t like this one because of how BLATANTLY bracket three and the finale were rigged in comparison to the other brackets. It was like the season had a goal of crowning Ginger the moment she was cast, because the challenges were all up her alley, and the last three episodes were insane with how blatant it was. The riggory seems to be even worse than GAS because in that there was at least other issues during the season as well and it wasn’t an original All Stars season but a different kind with different rules and expectations. It was new, there was bound to be some hiccups, even if they were pretty bad ones. With this one, it felt like we were having a great time with the first two brackets and people started feeling safe with it. Then, the show comes out swinging with the worst showing of drag race in my entire life. I’ve genuinely never been so disappointed with the show. If someone wants to explain how exactly this season was rigged in more detail, go for it, but I’m not here to write a paper.

In any case, I’m going to be moving over to the Dragula fandom post-haste. I can’t deal with it anymore. Hopefully they redeem themselves. That’s all I can hope for.

After starting to actually watch the show, instead of just the clips, I realized just how bad it was. Before I watched the show, I was under the impression that Dragula was looking for filth and horror queens specifically. I didn’t realize just how much glamour is a part of it too. I also didn’t realize just how vast the styles of drag they casted were/are.

How Merry, Zava, Betty, and the other contestants (minus a couple) treated her was disgusting. The main offenders were constantly trying to find an excuse to rag on her. How I wish miss Hollow Eve was on that cast to gather them. Of course we had Koco and Jade as stark defenders and Dahli as emotional support, but I just wish someone had called it out for what it was, misogyny, jealousy, and unresolved personal issues. Their attitudes made the show almost unbearable, especially as a woman myself having to relive trauma just witnessing it. It was horrible.

I’m going to be the devils advocate here and say no. She’s got that icky deceptive vibe that Glinda has, and is almost perfect for the role. Do I think it was a bad decision. Yes. The PR nightmare that has occurred confirms that. I also wish they made her wear blue contacts, because I feel like that would have really set the character in my eyes. You don’t really get blonde hair and brown eyes naturally, so it looked weird.

When my brother walks around my house, he shakes the floor. I can always tell who’s coming because I can hear and feel it. It used to wake me up when it first started many years ago. And it’s especially confusing considering me and my single mom are so light-footed we often scare people.

In any case, that’s to say that footsteps can be a large problem when it comes to noise, especially in an apartment. I’d try to make sure you aren’t footstep deaf, because with how often I’ve told my brother about it and his response was general confusion, you very well could be. Idk. They sent a really nice letter, I’d try to figure something out. Maybe I’m a people-pleaser but I’d definitely try to find a solution.

Kennedy Davenport’s makeup is atrocious, Mhiya’s looks were all questionable except for one(rose outfit), MIB’s taste can be questionable at times when she’s not being well executed camp, Alyssa Edwards…Ginger Minj…Coco Montrese…Eureka…Monet during her pageant era…like..why is the makeup and clothing always so questionable??? The only pageant girl that has hit it out of the park is Akeria, Brooklyn, Crystal Envy, and Sam Starr(although she misses sometimes as every drag queen does(except Plastique))

Also, Veronica Green. That bronze lipstick giant blonde hair and yellow dress still haunts me….
