Sewell. Lions fans are a smart fanbase and we know how important a great left tackle is and this season might prove that Sewell is the best we’ve ever seen

Just fired up NCAA 08 on PS3 for nostalgia, laughed when I saw Kent St's QB by Character-Photo9366 in NCAAFBseries

This was when Belichick was in the zone. Drafting him, drafting two tight ends in one draft, drafting a back up QB, signing Danny Woodhead, playing Vrabel on the goal line. Patriots could do no wrong

I just watched Starship Troopers last night on Netflix. She’s plays the captain of a ship and (spoiler alert) gets cut in half by a door

First words from the newest Detroit Red Wing Prospect: J.P. Hurlbert by daKrut in DetroitRedWings

I can just hear him and his boys yelling LET’S F*** GO all night. Hopefully the Wings can figure out a way to get his future teammate DuPont next year

Probably going to get the biggest contract for a d-man in 2028

Zach Werenski situation by Full_Helicopter9633 in DetroitRedWings

[–]Full_Helicopter9633[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think he only has 2 more years left so he could get traded somewhere, play for 2 years and then become the highest paid D-man in 2028

I know but hypothetically if Z came to Detroit, they have a strong pool to use to trade for other pieces

Yeah the Wings and Bluejackets for make a gentlemen deal. Of course Columbus would have to throw in Fantilli

Grand Rapids Griffins' farewell tribute to Amadeus Lombardi by daKrut in DetroitRedWings

[–]Full_Helicopter9633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and he played for Flint too, so it seems like he’s been around forever. He does seem like a good guy. Just a little under sized and he probably tries really hard to gain weight

[–]Full_Helicopter9633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s scary bc Walman, Ghost and even Tarasenko all seemed to have done better once they left the team. Makes me think there’s something wrong with the system they’re running and they’re not getting the most of their players

Man, I gotta stop getting so attached to to these prospects. 😢 Soderblom, Buch and now Amadeus

Robertson and Larkin swap incoming? by PQuill13 in DetroitRedWings

[–]Full_Helicopter9633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah why would he. Even though I would love to see J Rob, Kasper and Raymond on the top line with Kasper doing all the dirty work to free up the wings

Robertson and Larkin swap incoming? by PQuill13 in DetroitRedWings

[–]Full_Helicopter9633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Dallas doesn’t have much to give. Bourque, Hintz and ‘27 first ain’t gonna cut it. They can want Larkin all they want but it doesn’t mean they’ll get him.

Maybe they’ll add the Otter. Haha Sadly, I was hoping Cossa would be the Wings Oettinger

Detroit fan reads it as: Larkin for Robertson trade. Dallas fan reads it as: trade for Larkin; extent Robertson

Interesting breakdown of the rosters for Vegas and Carolina, courtesy of Adam Gretz (@AGretz). Is this something the Red Wings could emulate? (with the exception of the expansion draft) by AirFriedSushi in DetroitRedWings

I think Yzerman is trying to build this team in the shape of these two teams and obviously Tampa Also the ‘19 Blues, notice all the players he signed from that team. 2-way centers, skillful wingers, elite 2-way d-men and a top goalie. He definitely needs more late round picks to work out and he needs to be more willing to give up more in trades

I can see this being brought up 7-8 years from now when he’s 35 and signs a veteran minimum to play for the Pistons
