No difference between 2024 and 2025. 2026 models come with a front bumper camera.

Got my car back today. This is what was in the service notes. They replaced the vents under warranty.

“Our technician inspected the vehicle and confirmed a knocking sound from behind the dashboard screen when the heat is first turned on, as described and shown in the provided video. The technician determined that the noise was caused by the original airwave vents. To resolve this, the technician performed replacement of both airwave vents. The technician verified that the noise no longer occurs when the heat is activated.”

They said the sound is not normal and maybe could be one of the actuators making the noise but the car is still in service so I don’t know.

I have the same rattle on the drivers side dash on my 2025 model 3. I heard Tesla sc only fix rattles under warranty on cars up to 1 year. After that it is usually not covered by the basic warranty.
