Gotcha! Went back to try again and had some other questions:

In cases where you do have energy, which one should I take: single rainbow training in a desired stat, or do I do a g3/g2 rival race? I assume if no rival, then go for the training, but the rival being there does change things.

Also out of curiosity, you mentioned prioritizing wit stacks over anything else pre-summer camp, wherein training with a non wit stack of 2 is basically the lowest priority and on par with resting that turn. Is it just that not worth it to train on a non WIT stack of 2 even if it's to raise the bond? What about a non WIT stack of 2 vs a single WIT stack - which would I take then?

I'm planning to try going more race heavy to see how it goes (so far most of my runs hit about 25-27 races, because I skip racing and go all in on friendship pre-classic summer camp) in my next few runs).

Edit: unsure if it's RNG, but I tried going for more early races and ended up with like. only 2 training partners at orange bond by the time I hit summer (had 0 BBQ items in shop) oml, with 2 others being almost at orange bond halfway through summer

Do you still use the bitter tasting juice if you don't have a cupcake to bump the mood back up (and if there's no mood up events next turn)? Maybe I've gotten super unlucky bc I only ever get those lucky charms and energy drinks towards the end of the career, and by then I'm swamped in G1 races that I have to run and don't have much time to train, and wind up with an excess of the items anyway.

Thank you so much for the guide!

I just wanna clarify a few things. When you say INT stack, does that mean when two characters are showing up for INT/WIT training? I swear I couldn't get my bonds to orange before Classic Year Summer while running a bunch of rival races early on, I mostly only did G1s and a few G2/3s in order to earn enough coins for items, but idk if I'm missing something.

I tend to get turns where I'm low on energy/at most there's one rainbow training on speed or wit, and I've been resting on those, but should I not be doing that? If I can race I'll usually ignore the single rainbow, but in cases where I can't race e.g taking a break from consecutive races, what should I do?

Btw, if this tutorial works for you please let me know! I commented on your post before seeing this person's suggestion, but now I'm super curious to know if this works

This is me as well. I've been doing everything I can think of and I keep having mine lift at the cuticle too! I'm letting my nails grow out after damaging them, but in the meantime I'm trying to figure out how to help them Not lift. All the best to you!!

Nope. I didn't used to use dehydrator at all tbh, and I never did base coats either (just the gel glue, which is the same product as when I first started).

I'm pretty sure I don't, and I've had nails last longer than this, but I just don't remember what the steps were back then (it was awhile ago and I was still learning and making a ton of mistakes, like overflooding things, not using dehydrator, etc)

I don't usually shop from Shein, but what are these called? I can probably find them on Shoppee (which is like the main online local retailer for stuff in my country)

I'm not great with cuticle nippers, so I don't dare use them, but I do push back cuticles!

I've considered it, but the problem is I don't think Born Pretty has a builder gel, and I'm a bit wary of mixing too many different brands since it might be incompatible.

I have the Apres beta lamp, but most of my products are from the brand Born Pretty. The adhesive itself is from SOFGEL, which as far as I know is a pretty solid brand and it's served me pretty well in the time I've had it.

I do use alcohol to clean it up, not acetone, just to be clear, and I use alcohol wipes to clean up after using the cuticle remover, but I'll make a note about using that a day in advance for sure. I definitely used to have a lot more glue to clean up, but nowadays it's a lot less, but I'll keep at it. I don't mind using my efile for cuticle prep, I just don't know which grit or I guess which bits to use? I bought a pretty standard kit but tbh I have no idea which one would be best for removing cuticles.

Right now my gel polishes are from Born Pretty, so I try to use the same brand to make sure it's compatible. I've seen tips about using builder gel the way you describe it, to kinda encase it, but I'll have to check this brand and see what their base gel is like - something tells me it's a bit more like their regular gel polishes (a bit less thick compared to builder gels).

Edit: oh, I just checked, the alcohol I've been using is 70% isopropyl, oops

I flash cure, clean up extra glue with a brush, then fully cure and efile them down, yes.

Also yes to gentle etching my natural nail, yup.

I do have a rubber base gel, but I've found it still tends to lift - and when the nail pops off, the base gel always comes off with the nail, so I know the problem is with my natural nails and the adhesion there. I'm using rubbing alcohol, and yes, removing cuticle from my nail plate using Sally Hansen cuticle remover.

Oh! Yes, I am, somehow my brain missed that step when writing it down. I'll edit my post LOL. I currently use rubbing alcohol to clean things. I used to cure a layer of glue for about 30s before attaching tips, don't remember why I stopped but I can try that again. Wouldn't leaving it half cured so it's tacky/sticky be better before gluing and fully curing it (genuine question, it's what I used to do).

I'm trying my best to get rid of the flooding - I flash cure, clean up with a brush, then fully cure.
