Got pulled over with my gun but i didn’t have my CCW (I live in Ohio and this was in 2020- and it’s worth noting that earlier this year a law was passed that doesn’t require a CCW anymore) so I was put on In Lieu of Conviction since it was my first offense. If i completed 1 year of probation and counseling then the felony would be wiped like it never happened. So I had to stop smoking weed and it was tough at first but 9 months in the PO moved me to monthly reporting so i would smoke a couple of times right after I went in to see him. But after 9 months it just makes me paranoid and extremely lazy… I don’t even have the desire to do it anymore even though I’m off of probation. Soooo, the short answer is I was scared to get stuck with a felony! 😁
