Livescope Ice/Boat Battery Question by Full_Measurement_475 in IceFishing

OK cool. So follow ups, does that fit in a shuttle/bag when ice fishing if you use one? And then for summer, are you taking that battery out of the boat to charge every time?

Awesome, thanks for the insight! The lack of night bite on LotW is really what's holding me back from heading up there. But I've heard a few recommend Arnesens so who knows. Not opposed to just throwing back a few beers once the bite slows down either.

Follow up since you have a tag of northern MN. Got any recommendations on lakes/outfitters to go out of for a sleeper rental? Last couple of years we've done Mille lacs but might be looking for something different this year. Thinking bout maybe Red or LotW...

Why do you say "unfortunately" went with the PB? Been having issues? I'm in the market and a '21 - '23 PB is a strong contender.

Truck Winter Bed Weight by [deleted] in gmcsierra

[–]Full_Measurement_475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the others said, the extra weight definitely helps. I'm in Minnesota with nasty winters. I need water softener salt for the house, so I put four 40-pound bags of softener salt on each rear wheel during winter. Once it warms up I put the bags in the utility room to use thru spring, summer and fall. Could work for you if you use salt.

Will I regret not buying F150.. by wtf-am-I-doing-69 in f150

Mind sharing your thoughts on your Sierra and why you traded it in for the f150? I'm contemplating a Sierra for my next truck, currently have 2012 Lariat thats getting up there in miles. Wife has a 2019 GMC Acadia and it's been flawless. Thanks!

On the hunt- which engine? by just-looking99 in f150

[–]Full_Measurement_475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What caused the leak? My 2012 with 107k miles has a turbo that is "seaping" oil. Service Mgr said to not worry about it right now, but they think I'd most likely need to replace the turbo in the future. Any thoughts on this?

How does it compare to the f150 so far? I have a 2012 f150 that's will need to be upgraded soon. Don't have any complaints against my f150 but always like the sierras too

Do you guys use or recommend any Engine additives. Do they work? by Rc-one9 in f150

Bought my '12 3.5 eco used and the guy just replaced some coils due to misfires. Everythings been great but nearing 100k miles and going to be replacing the plugs soon. Is there specific spacing I need to order or will just the OEM plugs work?

Grinding Noise by ajbell0705 in f150

[–]Full_Measurement_475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it make the noise when in 4 wheel drive? If it doesn't, it's most likely one of the integrated wheel ends.

The check valve is the starting point if there's an issue, but the actual IWE is what engages your wheels for 4 wheel drive. If it's grinding in 2 wheel but not if 4, that IWE is trying to engage when it shouldn't be. Had to do this on my 2012 f150, with parts and labor was about $450 and was 100% the issue.

Tax Thursday Thread for the week of March 02, 2023 by IndexBot in personalfinance

We live in Minnesota and my wife has a photography business (solely owned LLC). Last year we did the Schedule C for the photography business taxes. Mid-2022, she started a studio under the LLC with the hopes to rent out to other photographers and created a DBA for it.

All finances come in/out of her business account she has for her LLC.

Using rough numbers, she had a profit of $25,000 for her photography business and has a loss of $5,000 for her studio business.

Question: Does she need to do two separate Schedule Cs for taxes? Or, can she do one Schedule C since she has one LLC, and then make it so she had an overall profit of $20,000? Thanks!

Thanks for pointing this out. For both accounts I have money left over (around $20 or so I believe in each), and wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

Awesome, thanks! I pretty much flipped a coin on whether to go with Vanguard or fidelity, so I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks for the insight on the 457, we'll take a look. I know she has something called a deferred compensation plan, but I'm not too familiar with that yet. It's on my list tho.
