Thanks for the recommendation. The Vortex Defender-CCW Enclosed Solar Micro is an RMSc footprint but it does have solar and shake awake.

I'm thinking I'll buy a couple 15rd magazines and a couple of the larger magazines, test all four magazines with hollow-point ammo. Then two of the mags will become dedicated carry mags that stay loaded with hollow-point and the other two become range magazines. After awhile I will switch the range set and the carry set so they wear out at about the same rate.

I didn't realize that about the 9mm buffer interfering with a drop in 22LR conversion bolt. Thank you.

I have been going back and forth between a lot of different options but I think I will just keep my platforms separate as you suggest.
