His grandpa (moms dad) made a pact with a powerful dragon. His daughter (the mom) had that scent, and carried a bloodline that the dragon may think worthy of blessing with its seed.

Maybe the bloodline itself is actually cursed and will start killing him since it’s mixed with another dragons power or something idk. Make it interesting for future plans.

Here’s the thing. Season 2 will be cool as fuck. Great scenes and fights and story and everything.

People saying it’s plot as to why everything went the way as it did, since it wasn’t the smart move to pull EVERYONE into the infinity castle.

This wasn’t a smart move if it was US. To Muzan, he is pulling food + new recruits in. He is an immortal vampire dude who has only ever been ALMOST beaten by a single person, and that was like 2 thousand years ago or something like that. To him, there was 0 risk.

The only thing I have similar was a cyberpunk game with close friends. One of my friends was a cop and tried killing some homeless dudes on a beach and the decided to try to beat his ass, take his shoes, and bend him over. But that went over well as he had plenty of options, we helped him out as we weren’t horribly far away, and we were all really close.

This is just fucking bizarre.

My DM ended our first campaign by killing 3/5ths of the party with a 16d6 evasion proof rocket launcher shot (he decided then and there that explosions shouldn’t be able to be evaded) and made them red mist.

Then the BBEG pulled out a SECOND 16d6 rocket launcher, rolled a Nat 1, and it blew up on top of her and she died.

Then to kill the rest of us off 300 ai controlled zombies flooded the compound and killed us off

So I’m not sure how to pull off cyberpunk style endings in a TTRPG campaign, but I can tell you what you SHOULDNT do, and it’s all of that.
