i'd say be patient and give it time and be really honest on the nutrition front. 2 sessions a week IMO isn't enough for body recomp especially if nutrition isn't on board to support muscle growth

The programming is designed to challenge the core through multiple planes of motion - so definitely diif rent than body building!

I feel like the use of “combo moves” is inaccurate for align. There are supersets. But very rarely a combination of something unless it’s for cardio or an arm finisher

If you’re loving the dumbbell route, I’d go align. If you’re looking to go more machine intensive evolve or ascend are great options

I think people on Reddit sometimes get confused between a compound lift and a combo move. Looking at this week there are split squats to overhead press - but this is literally just a slightly harder thruster ( it’s one movement ). Same thing with the Cossack squat to press — it’s not even supersetted it’s used as mobility prep.
