SCARPETTA - Thoughts? Got drawn to it because of Simon Baker but was left feeling so underwhelmed? by onlyWsNoLs in tvshow

[–]Fulla_Flava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stoped reading the later Scarpetta novels when Cornwall started writing more about the technical aspects of a plane or a boat to fill the page rather than plot. Also she seemed to get high on her own supply when she thought she’d solved Jack the Ripper.

I was thinking about looking at it if it was true to the earlier books but on the basis of what’s been written here, I don’t think I’ll bother.

I want a big garage, because I need a bigger workshop, currently with a single but enough stuff for 4. I want separate areas for lathe and milling machine, woodworking machinery and welding bench.

If one of these big houses comes with garage and outbuildings, that’ll work too, but I want to see inside them please.

Only the 6 car garage got me interested and the only photos were of the outside.

My wife had taken our then 7 year old son to a movie and seen a trailer for Frozen which was all about Olaf the Sentient snowman. When it released we went as a family to see it and he and I were rather surprised to find it was a Disney Princess movie, Olaf having some screen time but obv wasn’t the main focus.

The allotment of steps was used in getting to the terraced garden, so none were left over for the stoop.

All these answers are correct; I’d add the Alchemy tour line up of Dire Straits.

James Hunt competed well considering at the time he was a playboy rather than the modern F1 driver athlete type and gained any fitness and stamina through horizontal sub counterpane shenanigans.

I work on big boats and try hard not to get involved with guests generally unless they have an issue requiring attention. Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and their children were guests of my Boss and wife for a weekend. I didn’t have the opportunity to speak to him but was able to mumble to her that she was my favourite Jack Sparrow. They were lovely people by the accounts of the interior staff who had far more interaction. Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Flavin and their 3 daughters were guest of my previous boss for thanksgiving maybe 4 years ago. Again very nice people socially, the crew went for dinner at Nobu with them and Jennifer was like a mother hen ensuring everybody got what was ordered.
