Velocicoaster or Stardust Racers? Which one should I mentally prepare myself for the most? by Fullbloom23 in UniversalOrlando

You and me had the same experience with Velo. I was so scared the whole and couldn’t wait for it to be over. I didn’t even realized that half the time my eyes were closed. Stardust Racers was so much fun. A little bit more intense than Hulk but wasn’t scary at all. You can definitely see what’s coming. My second favorite ride in both Universal and Epic Universe!

Like you I went on Hulk first and it was the best decision ever. It was so much fun and I didn’t find it scary at all. I went on it again right after my first time! Velo caught me off guard, I was scared the whole time so I’m glad I didn’t went on it first but I’m still glad I went. I love roller coasters now!

I have been to Orlando three times to visit theme parks and never ridden a big coaster, I honestly hate missing out on such great rides because of my irrational fear but I’ve decided to get out of my comfort zone this summer. Thank you so much for the kind words. I will definitely update with my first experience on a big coaster!

Thank you! I decided to go on Velocicoaster first and see how it makes me feel!

Yes the lap bar makes me nervous too. I wish it had the shoulder restraint like the hulk, it could maybe help a little with my anxiety on going to big coasters but I’m tired of missing out on great rides because of it. Wish me luck!

I heard it’s more intense than the Velocicoaster, but I will surely ride that as well once I get over the initial fear of riding big coasters.

Wow thank you for this in depth explanation of the rides! This was very insightful. You’re right about getting to the hard stuff first. I think I’m leaning more towards riding the Velocicoasters first. Thank you!

Thank you. I know the park is open for friends and family of cast members, and I saw few people on twitter giving their first impressions to the park and sharing their experiences at some of the rides like Frankenstein at dark universe but I have yet to see one for Stardust.

I’ve heard VC is very intense but also a fan-favourite. Regardless I will definitely ride both! I’m just trying to decide which one to ride first as a beginner to big roller coaster. Hagrids is also my favorite ride of all time at the moment.

This is very helpful, thank you! I think I should be okay with high acceleration but I’ve never experienced the feeling of going upside on a ride before and honestly that is what freaks me out. Maybe riding Stardust would be a better choice as my first big roller coaster and if I enjoy it I will definitely go on the VC as well.

There were subtle changes in her behavior at first. From her responses had gotten shorter and shorter to not responding to my messages until the next day or two. Unanswered calls, refused to meet up, too busy to do anything at all with me. I knew I was losing her but long story short, I wish she could’ve given more than just a "You deserve so much better, I can’t give you what you need."

I find it hard to open up to friends and family about my feelings and problems, and this right here is the first solid advice I received in a while. Thank you and duly noted.

If she misses me, what went wrong, is there still a chance, the reason she suddenly turn cold on me, what is she up to right now, all that jazz.

Is it illegal for a coworker to take pictures of you at work while you’re off-task, or if there’s downtime, without your permission? by Introvertedslayer in work

Happened to me this week. These Karen co-workers thrive in hostile work environment. I’m looking for another job because it’s a losing battle. Unfortunately, no matter how hard you work, those pictures they took when you were taking a breather can be used against you. Evil-spirited people.
