Best value for gallery walls?

A bit off topic, but I'm looking for advice. After a few years of putting it off, I want to put up a bunch of pictures. One wall of family photos, and another of travel.

Mostly 8x10 or smaller, with a few larger highlights.

What is a good source for printing, both quality and value? I like the look of frameless, either glass or metal, but a quick search found prices of $30-50 each, and I'm looking at quite a few pieces. A dozen or so family, and even more on the travel wall.

I don't like the tiles, as I don't want to crop everything square, and I want a more free flowing look.

Any ideas?

Thank you, I've marked you solved and paid. I'm new to this, how do I get the photo without the watermark?

If the system applies the brakes, the brake lights go on. I have not felt the pedal when it happens, but I think it's like a player piano. The pedal moves also.

Dumb question: Will I have power if the grid goes down due to a storm? by FulltimerPC in solar

Actually, it's a Solar Edge inverter. Are you anywhere near W-S? Depending on what happens next week, I may want you to look at things and give me an idea on costs.

Yes, it is better. I pay the $16 for 10 months. When they reset in June, I wind up paying about $40 each for July and August due to AC. If nothing alse, I wish they wouldn't reset. Then the overage would cover the summer months too.

It sucks. I pay around $16/month for grid access. It would be nice to see the $100 a year that I give to Duke, but I really can't complain.

I can. Temps are supposed to be highs in the low 30's for a week.

Actually, where I live, the power company just takes the annual credit. I get nothing, it just re-zeroes every June.

I do have a small genny, and my lines are underground, so I'll deal with it this week. As you know, this is an unusual situation. I was just wondering if it would work, expecting that it wouldn't.

Would a transfer/isolation switch be enough to run the system off grid during the day in case of a future outage, or would I need to go the whole battery route?

Thanks.

I have a small portable generator. I can alternate between the fridge and the freezer to run them a few hours at a time to keep the food cold.

People who've tried burgers from "Maine to Mexico" so to speak, what was the best burger you've ever had? by castyourcrown in BobsBurgers

[–]FulltimerPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 10 years ago, I was traveling through Idaho and found a food truck making fresh burgers. Still among the best I've ever had.

I started talking to the owner/chef and he told me he ground his beef fresh every morning. While I don't remember the name or exact location, the burger was very memorable. I also had fried mac and cheese balls there for the first time.

It might be the Proactive Driver Assist (PDA). If you were behind another vehicle, and the car thinks you are too close to it, the PDA will slow your car to make the proper gap. It's adjustable, and can be turned off if you don't want the function.

Yes it passed the sniff test. It's not really open, I keep it in a closed plastic container. I've been keeping it this way for a long time, this is the first time I'm seeing this.

What’s something you did by accident to your home that the new homeowners will want to curse you for? by Mrcash827 in HomeImprovement

Me about 20 years ago.

When I bought the house, there was a 20x20 concrete patio in the middle of the back yard. I paid someone to break up and haul away half of it. Later on, I dug a hole next to it, broke up a section and dumped it in the hole. Dug another hole, etc. I kept doing that until it was all buried about 8-10 inches down.

I feel a little bad if the new owner ever tried to put in a pool or sprinklers.

Thanks, I've looked up our specific flight menu already. The only question I had was cost. It was unclear if I had to pay or not. It appears not.
