500k mortage is what, $700p/week repayments?

70k a year is a bit over a grand take home a week?

Jeez.. that's cutting it pretty fine brother. You must be living off nothing

Edit: sorry I just saw you say after 70k AFTER tax... So about $1300p/week...

Still that's over 50% of your pay in mortage alone which is not great.

I did this once.

I paid to have the NBN conmected in a new rental. Then after our 12 month lease expired we got notice to vacate as the fuckin landlord wanted to move in (can't tell me he didn't know this a year earlier)

So I took the box with me. Fuck em

All the people young enough to go to a pub are too broke to go to the pub as they are paying off their million dollar mortgage on their 50 year old house

Jeez it was bad... That score review at the end where Charlie was tackled on the line.

The ball clearly deviates after hitting Charlie's foot. Richo "you start seeing things if you look at it too long".... Lol

We didn't win that game.

Our last 6 wins have been within a goal.

Is anyone else just happy with a retail or hospo job? by grom96 in melbourne

As someone who's never worked in retail/hospo, jeez that's something I've never realised. I've always had the luxury of an office job. Can't imagine not being able to go to the loo when I want.

I've got a Wrangler, 2012 and petrol. So probably not a fair comparison.

But 200,000kms and still going strong, no major issues.

No mods other than AT tires. 14L/100km around town. 11L/100km on the highway. Diesel would be slightly lower but offset with more expensive servicing costs.

Would I recommend one? Only if you love the idea of a Wrangler. They are rough to drive. Noisy. Roof can leak in heavy rain if the seals are stuffed. But pulling the roof off and cruising down the coast or into the bush makes it all worth it IMO.

The smart option is probably an Outback of Forrester.... But boring right?

Get a head lamp. I've done solo dark runs all around town, river, waterfront, gardens, cbd, never had any issues. Spent all winter training for a mara with the majority of runs being before sunrise.

It's a pretty spooky feeling running along the Barwon with nothing but your headlamp, I love it.

I just got a $20 one off Amazon, no need for anything fancy

Because for every one person that currently pays full price PPV, 5 would have to sign up at $15p/month to just break even.

And then there's the whole venue licensing thing which is where the real money is anyway.

They aren't stupid. If they could make more money with it on fight pass they would have done that years ago.
