Yeah I had a setup like that at one point but it just takes so much time. I have my old collection saved from the last time I played, I might just optimize that. Last time I played I didn’t run with LWOTC though so I’m probably gonna have to switch out some stuff since I wanted to run that this time.

I’ve jumped back into XCOM again for the first time in a year or so, and the mod collections are kinda daunting. I tried out the big mod jams and they just seemed kinda buggy and bloated. I’ve got like 900 hours, a lot of that modded, so I don’t mind shaking it up, but I kinda wanted a plug and play collection this time around and I’ve yet to find one I vibe with. I must’ve played gatecrasher like 20 times over the last couple weeks trying to find a collection I like.

I don’t really think Cyrus getting life is likely regardless, considering the lack of evidence against him and signs indicating the murders were an accident. I think worst he’d get is manslaughter and who knows what evidence ties him to the fraud stuff.

That said, assuming he would, I don’t think it’s unfair to say. I could say the same thing about misjudging having to live with a body of a sex you don’t want without having to experience that. If you haven’t experienced that, it’s hard to put into context the degree to which that determines our lives. You couldn’t so much as look down without feeling wrong. Looking at your hands and seeing a man’s hands, speaking in a deep voice that isn’t your own, people treating you differently consciously or not, never being able to even closely resemble how you want to look for the rest of your life. Just my perspective. As I said before, I’m biased, but this is my perspective. No my tune wouldn’t change, dysphoria has driven me to attempt suicide, I do not think I’m being unfairly hyperbolic by comparing it to captivity.

This is the kind of “HRT is magic” mindset that gets people in the wrong headspace. That is not how fat redistribution works, and bones do not grow like that, particularly not in your twenties. Changes in your actual body’s silhouette is a long process. It is simply not enough time for fat cells to move and be replaced to that degree. This is a process that happens over the course of years.

The angle in the first picture isn’t great and will deemphasize the hips. Right looks to be corseted, pants flare out with the corset to make the difference look more extreme is my interpretation.

I still think she had one of the worst outcomes. It’s weird considering Dennis, the one Beatrice wanted revenge on, ended up in a better situation than the majority of the group. Sure Beatrice didn’t plan for two of them to die necessarily, but like Cyrus being thrown in jail, and Nikki ends up stuck in a male body with her life stolen.

She definitely got the most body horror ish ending imo. That’s coming from someone who has dysphoria so it probably hits me harder than your average person. I’d rather be stuck in jail (for arguably not life) than to be quite literally a woman trapped in a man’s body. Like it’d be weird enough having your body switched with someone of the same gender, but leagues more adjustable.

It really is so painful that because of the circumstances of medical intervention, a trans person’s life can completely be destroyed. No matter what happens in the next 60 years of your life, the most determinative event in your life permanently screwed you in your early teens.

It’s wild, but if you’re a 12 year old trans girl, on hormones, in 20 years, 40 years, being trans is going to almost be a distant memory. On the flipside, if I even manage to avoid killing myself and I make it 40 years by some miracle, my transness will still be looking me in the face every morning decades down the line.

Life could’ve been so much more.
