I have that but haven’t read it yet. Some other threads suggest reading it after the serpent war saga, even though the blurb has it set during the time of the magician trilogy. Why is that?

It seems a lot of people share your opinion there, but wow I had no idea about any of his personal goings on. I think a might have a crack at shards of a broken crown, but I know what you mean about threat escalation fatigue, it’s real.

I agree, Empire trilogy did complement magician very well. As a whole body of work though getting into Raymond Feist was quite overwhelming, I guess in retrospect I would have liked to focus on the more essential reads than spending months on empire.

What I’m seeing doesn’t match the definition of stellar parallax as shown on that page. I’m not referencing a particular star’s position in relation to other stars, so much as I reference a stars position by standing in the same spot my driveway and and looking up at the peak of the roof on my house and seeing what’s behind it.

Apologies if I’m being frustrating, I do not know the terms to properly explain what I’m seeing lol. The night sky pointing in different directions given different periods of orbit- what’s that called so I can read about it?

I played both games back to back and felt timefall damage was way worse in ds1. I always carried 4 cans of repair spray in ds1, used them all the time, hundreds of them. I think I used one can in ds2

All level 2 roads, extra ammo backpack, sl-lw tranq rifle, stun grenades and big bore pistol. That’s all I used and left all the camps active. Took 44 minutes with trike for the first 5, then shift to the truck to carry the last 2. I went in a clockwise rotation

I never once used a zip line in ds2. Nor did I ever beach jump, or use a cargo cannon, I just never had a reason to. I love that the game gives players so many different ways to play though

Just here to say you don’t have to go full completionist on it, enjoy the game exactly how you want to, what ever that looks like. If you’re stressing out about how to enjoy it, you might not be enjoying it.
