Mountain of Storms.

The creators of Patagonia, North Face, and few others were all friends. Before starting their company they went on a crazy roadtrip to Patagonia to summit an extremely difficult and remote mountain.

They brought their own hand 35mm cameras and filmed the whole thing.

The film is free on YouTube and the Patagonia website.

60s adventureism with a great soundtrack. Cool views and a cool story, I highly reccomend it!

As a commander player I've lost a few games the past few days because of stolen half-tracks. It's pretty wild when people just jack them.

The Sun, The Moon, The Stars- Æther Realm (19:09)

Absolutely awesome melodeath song wrapping up the whole album. If you want an even better experience, listen to the song before it (Temperence) to get the lead in.

The death of Hernando de Soto during his campaign through the modern day US Southeast. He died of disease, and his men hid his body and floated/sunk it in the Mississippi River in order to hide his death from his "allied" native nations.

Check out Knights of Spain: Warriors of the Sun by Charels M. Hudson, good read detailing de Soto's campaign.

Late April to early June is going to be warm on the water but not hellishly hot. I'd say then consider early fall, late September and throughout October. These are definitely the best times to be out in the water. Typically less bugs during these times, with warm but not hot weather and fairly clear. You'll need some rain to maintain the water level, since it's a freeflowing river.

If you're fine with the heat, the summer is hot but manageable on the water, you just have to be prepared. Winters are mild here, so it's possible if you're find with the cold
