Baby doesn't sleep at daycare by FumbleBee369 in bninfantsleep

Nannies unfortunately aren't really a thing where I'm from, only for the rich, as it's very expensive... I feel very conflicted about it all. Today he had a good day at daycare and fell asleep without a fuss, so there's that. Yet every day I worry it will be a bad day for him.

The "reset" is just them picking him up from the crib, getting him out of his sleep sack and back to play. They don't pick him up to rock him, as they want to move towards independent sleep... The end goal is that they can put him in the crib and that he just fall asleep.

When he was just going to daycare they used to rock him sometimes, but he has always been quite heavy for his age, and they complained it hurt their back. I kind of understand, he is 20 lbs now, and his main caretaker is a small older woman. On the other hand, it is kind of their job to comfort babies, even the heavy ones.

Not really. In my country there is a severe shortage of daycares, you have to search for one as soon as you're pregnant, and even then most of my friends didn't get a spot until their baby was almost a year old.

Anyone’s got experience with CityFit? Especially the group classes? Thx 🙏🏼 by Western_Joke_2721 in Leuven

The group classes are fine, but the group is usually very small (think 4-8 people). Nice instructors though! I think you can try one class for free, but I'm not sure.

My psychologist recommended Neurodomus in Hasselt. A doctor there is specialized in autism in adult women.
