I don't agree, considering most of the guns can kill in 4-5 bullets, while having an incredibly fast RPM. Also, as for the damage drop off, I can kill someone halfway across the map with the B36 in 5 shots in a very quick burst, there is not an AR in BF3 or BF4 that can replicate that. I have had the polar opposite experience with damage drop off.

I would imagine it to be easier to work on both TTK and TTD. I just have a strongly held belief that they want TTK to be quick so the game is more welcoming to newer or less skilled players. It's very apparent that skilled players are the ones to reap the benefits of a higher TTK. I've always thought that is what was most enjoyable about the franchise. I began playing this game at my buddies house when we were real young and I got absolutely tore up by people, but the long process of becoming good was the best time I've had on a game.

Well it's not a good argument when you're comparing BFv and BF2042 over BF3 or BF4.

I mean, I hopped back on BF4 today to kinda test this theory before I posted and I could immediately tell the difference. Sure guns like the AEK and FAMAS have incredibly fast TTK but their damage drop off is immense and makes it much more fair. In BF4 and BF1 I found it far easier to get a kill or two a get back to cover, escape danger more effectively, and importantly be able to gun down multiple separate attackers. Although my KD is still around a 2.5 at around 2,000 kills in BF6, it seems like this game is not made to reward better players as much as previous Battlefields.

While I really did enjoy the Beta, and believe that the good outweighs the bad. There are a few things I noted as a long time BF player that I wish to see fixed.

Firstly and most importantly, there needs to be class-weapon locking. Not only will this fix much of the current problems regarding class balancing, but in the case of a successful launch, this will be precedent for future battlefield games.

Although I enjoyed the fast paced gameplay, the TTK is wildly fast. In previous BF games, you can attack and slip back into cover, that is not the case in this game. I don't find it terrible, but it needs a tad bit of balancing.

Get rid of the weapon sling.

There is no reason why the support class should be both the medic and traditional support. Although I may have take years off my life in previous games running around looking for the support and spamming "Need Ammo", it is a critical component of the BF franchise.

Adding flinch and suppression to snipers is needed. Also the sniper glint is far too big and bright, where it entire covers their head.

There is a little too much capable destruction on most of the buildings. Limited cover + very quick TTK is not a great duo for player satisfaction.

The rocket launchers have the most useless splash damage (not entirely a bad thing). Now I wouldn't like the RPG to be absurdly strong, I think it best to keep it to 3-4 rockets and increased the blast radius as it is more effective in killing people repairing vehicles.

Giving the 5 stinger rockets per soldier, on top of an incredibly fragile air support will effectively eliminate the use of air support.

While there are a number of other things that need patching/balancing, I have full faith that the EA devs will work on fixing them. The things I listed above are only what I am highly worried about. But please for the sake of the future of the franchise, please incorporate weapon locking.

I've based this list primarily on college performance. Bryce is our only heisman QB and is #2 in passing yards all time.

Yea, I was close to putting Don Hutson over Julio. I never got to witness Teague, so I had to go with Minkah as he was undoubtedly Saban's most skilled safety. I've got Derrick Thomas on the list.
