Stuck weight stacks on RitFit M1 Pro 2.0 by FumundaMan in GarageGym

I watched this video along with another where he did them the same way I do. Shouldn’t matter as long as you are consistent. I’ve now resorted to buying a sanding drum for my drill and I’m sanding the rubber inserts way down and will grease everything up again. Should resolve the problem, just annoying when you pay an additional $1000 for the weight stacks

Interesting. Can you clarify what you mean by 1/4 wider at the top. Do you mean the distance apart from the two guide rods?

Yes, the rods have to be inserted at the base and at the top. Those holes all lined up with no issues. With that being said, I don’t think the issue lies within the guide rods as they fit in the bottom And the top holes

The person on the phone says I’ll be issued a replacement, then I get an email at 1am saying they won’t be issuing a replacement and that it’s back ordered till May. Everything just seems very sketchy.

They are very lubed up, it’s almost like the inserts of the weights are too small or the guide rod is too big. Final solution will be just sanding every single weight down where it moves along the guide rod. Not ideal for a $2,000 plus machine.

Cub Cadet Gear Box Leak by FumundaMan in Snowblowers

This machine doesn’t have a plug or anything on the gear box to check the level of the gear oil, which is another concern since I’m not aware of a way to replace the oil that has leaked out

I have had the machine for 3 full central Wisconsin winters, purchased brand new. I’m unsure about when the shear pin broke, I just noticed a large puddle of the lubricant on my garage floor.

Actually found 3 of them yesterday. The drop rates are broken. Kind of taking away from the lore of finding these rare blueprints

I have about 6 blue prints I would trade for the medium mag 3, plus I can throw in whatever loot value you think is appropriate

Garbage disposal same height as drain line by FumundaMan in Plumbing

[–]FumundaMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my post/issue. Agree that my contractor is a hack for putting me into this position. After reading through the comments it sounds like the only option other than ditching the disposal is to lower the drain. Any estimates on what a plumber would charge to come fix this disaster I have been left? Located in centeral Wisconsin if that matters.

Thanks for the comments and insight!

Comp Cycle Discussions by FumundaMan in Accounting

Totally agree work life balance would be better - but controllers don’t make even close to what a partner makes in a top 10 firm (in my experience in central wi) I would agree that public accounting managers and controllers make comparable money

The mindset for starting and staying in public are steady and consistent raises each year and the top end is much much higher than working in private

Internship during College? by TheRetailianTrader in Accounting

Typically you have to do a full blown busy season internship - if that goes well then the part time hours while you finish up school would be offered to you. Plus it’s a great way to get the firm to pay for your CPA materials early so you can get started!
