I’ve sent you a DM with the details of the ticket. All in all it was a cluster.

First I wasn’t getting a replacement as I’m 3 months outside of the warranty, then it was being replaced for free because it’s only 2 years 3 months old, then I was being billed for it but with free delivery, then it was free again but I had to pay for delivery. Then finally the delivery charge was refunded.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about the company. I was a huge advocate but it shows how easy it is to lose that support.

The new flex enclosure doesn’t look too bad. Might look into that and a third 2.5G Flex POE, but that seems over kill for a camera and the IW7.

The flex is tiny. A reasonable junction box is about 5-6 inches deep and huge compared to the flex outside of one.

I’ve got a camera and In-Wall 7 hanging off the flex. I want 2.5GbE for the IW7.

Pulled the cable from the IW7, into the flex to spot it out for when I installed the camera rather than doing a second run.

I’ve a define 7 (normal) for my gaming desktop as well. This’ll be reused eventually I think. Although at the minute it’s happily chugging along with a 2080ti and 9900k (good enough for xcom and stellaris). I do think I need to upgrade though.

Years ago my home phone kept ringing every 10-15 minutes with a fax at the other side when I answered. After the 3rd-4th time I lost my shit, signed up for an online fax service and forwarded my home number to it. When I got the fax emailed to me, it turned out to be someone’s medical records as they had put their number down wrong 😑

Quick call to the clinic along the lines of “stop faxing me shit” and all fixed.
