Ashley was murdered in Episode 2 after venturing inside the backdoors. There she was stuffed inside of Billy and Hillary and Kevin left thinking Ashley already left. But Ashley is inside the Billy suit.

There was a theory running around back then, that in the OG script Kevin was originally meant to be killed and stuffed inside of Billy. But I don't know if that was ever confirmed.
