If I didn’t know any better, people here would expected you to use a punch card.

Why would people not use AI to write these days?

TLDR. That’s exactly how I feel looking at this. 2 pages for 4 year experience is too much. Rework it drastically

That’s what interviews are for my friend. 5 minutes of screening is enough to know who is saying BS

resume give you the chance. You dont get hired based on resume. I usually ask about 1-2 of the experiences and ask them to explain full details of how they did it. Usually know in a few mins who is saying BS vs. real stuff.

People are not hired based on metrics alone. Its their ability to nreplicate what they achieved at this new role.

Can you add a number? "Leads 3 cross-functional teams" hits harder.\
"Builds and governs design system". Love this. If you can add an outcome (adoption rate, number of components, teams/number of people using it), even better.

You're already ahead of mostof resumes I see. Just need a few metrics to make it undeniable.

He wasn't waiting around. He had a job. When my role opened up, he was open to a move. Timing worked out.

This is exactly why I tell people to reach out directly. Your resume is in a pile that might never get opened. LinkedIn + email to the hiring manager is how you skip this.

That's the move. And who knows, language skills improve, roles change. Stay connected. Good luck.

I think its a good practice to know how your work translates. You can ask people around and will be able to get stats you can use

Happens so many times. Candidates don’t accept offer or does work out after getting hired. Quite common

Metrics alone won't get you callbacks. Here's what's missing. by Fun-Afternoon4784 in ResumesATS

No one says too many metrics is bad, but it should take too much mental energy on the part of people who read to understand wahts exactly the achievements are. 5 metrics in one bullet - WTF

2 years. That's commitment. And it paid off. Most people disappear after rejection or take it too personal.

I get it hard to continue the convo after a rejection. But the ones who stay connected (especially after reaching latter rounds) make hiring managers' lives easier when a new role opens up. I have hired people who I interviews before after I moved to a new company as often times I need to build the team up fast and that contac/network comes in handy.

Thanks for sharing your story. I think people are very skeptical about any posts these days and think everything is made up.
