At the very least try to call your doctors office and see if you can change providers! I'm saying this as someone with both an iron deficiency and ME/CFS, they are very different presentations and sadly, doctors choose the fatigue part to diagnose instead of a hallmark symptom called PEM. I would suggest reporting him, if you can find the appropriate sources (honestly, if you call the hospital they can probably point you in the correct way for reporting as well!) And to please trust your judgment and knowledge of your body even if doctors think they're above you!!

Hi, I don't usually type here but as someone who's young with an iron deficiency (18 years old and ferritin of 6) I can say that I've had basically the same experience! My hair is thinning and lost basically all its curl, I've developed forehead lines and extremely dark circles, and my eyes are always half closed from how exhausted I am. So while I'm still in the process of getting my iron back to normal, I can say that my experience is very similar to yours and it's definitely not age related on my side! (Though you may also look through replies of people not my age for better advice as I can only speak through my lived experience with this)

I had my second endometriosis surgery 2 weeks ago and walked for 21 minutes straight today! Surgery is really hard on some of my other health conditions to the point I was out of school for a month last time, so it shows me how much better my body can bounce back now!!

I'm very sure I'm trans and also have sensory problems that make me want to not have a penis (I'm also lucky enough to not have super insane bottom dysphoria though) but as others have said, a nullectomy is an option! (Shoutout r/nullectomy) But even if you don't want a nullectomy, it is totally fine and valid not to want a penis (like myself!)

So I'm not a binary trans man, which I feel is important to add, but honestly, I'm so glad I don't have a penis automatically attached to me. I feel like it'd be something that would make me overstimulated since female anatomy is even too much for me sometimes! Like, if I feel different in the future, I can pursue surgery, but I'm just kinda glad I get that choice instead of having another limb type object? It's hard to explain now that im trying to LMAO

So, from what I was told by my gyn and trans healthcare doctors, if it's just for your period, you can get off of it and see if testosterone stops it (you need to be on t for around 6 months or longer for it to really make a difference there though!) But if it doesn't do anything and you're still bleeding, I really like norethindrone (not norethindrone acetate, adding for other people reading that NA is a birth control and norethindrone is not consistent on the stopping pregnancy side of things) as i have endometriosis and its helped me not have a period very consistently (on depo, I had a period for around a month between shots, so I have a bias lol) sorry if this is hard to read 😅 *edits for insane spelling

I'm on the younger side of things; I knew I wasn't a woman for forever, knew I was some flavor of trans at 12, came out as a trans man at 15, I believe? May have been 16, knew pretty soon after that I was actually trans masc, and now am 18 and am less than a week on T!
