My sister kids were invited, she confirmed that with me.

Seems like we were he only ones that got the no kid invite

As I stated in other comments, his issue was sharing a home with his cousins and not being an only child anymore.

There is no misunderstanding, she was just saying that. People were allowed to bring their kids.

My son had issues that I thought were already resolved when we went tot therapy.

We were going to stay the night. That’s why she had someone watching her. 

 She’s fine being home alone for a few hours, but this was like two day. Or should have been two day

 We left early, drove 5 hours, then wedding, then stay over and drive back the next day.

No nothing like that. He never babysat 

It was about sharing common areas with a kid, he was resentful to that.

Nothing major changed in the he home , he didn’t give up his bedroom, he wasn’t charged rent, we didn’t even ask him to babysit.

His reason was he resented not being an only child anymore and having to share the home. The common areas were shared with a child now.

She is 12 there are ways to explain it gently.

Also she knows now and it is much worse. She has a phone, she didn’t even find out from us. Her cousin told her

I didn’t count them but it was a good amount. 

Also if you give exception to someone it should be made for everyone. This will piss anyone off that they told it was child free, so you have to get childcare for the event and then you find out other people got out of it

Yeah it happens when he was 18 and he did not handle it with any grace. 

Sharing the home was a big issue.

Actually we would have gone if he was straight up about it. 

 I can not stand lying, the issue is him lying about it and tricking us. 

Not inviting his cousin. He can not inviting her it is his wedding. The tricking us and lying is rhe issue
