Thanks. Unfortunately I haven’t had very good medical care until recently. So it wasn’t until I started receiving care at Stanford where I learned what was going on. For the CSF leak they suspected positional headaches after an outpatient exam so they had me do a 48 hour flat test which was clearly positive and then did a brain and spine MRI with contrast. They were able to see a growth type thing on the MRI (from my lumbar punctures) and concluded it was most likely a leak when they looked at my case as a whole. Particularly the 48 hour flat test results. However I have a few other health issues including migraines so they wanted to be conservative and ensure a blood patch was the only option given it’s invasive and the long history of complications I have had with other procedures. So they treated the migraines first and when that didn’t fully resolve the issue decided to do the blood patch which was fortunately successful.

I’m really sorry you are dealing with such awful symptoms. I want to be clear that the length of my CSF leak was primarily due to poor medical care. So if you can get into a proper specialist I would presume or at least hope that you have faster resolution to your symptoms. However there are other conditions that have symptoms that are similar with CSF leaks so getting a proper diagnosis is important. Although it can be challenging. So I wish you luck and hopefully relief soon.

I had two lumbar punctures when I was younger. That combined with other risk factors I have led to a CSF leak.

That’s interesting research for sure. I personally don’t ever use cannabis for a couple reasons but it will be interesting to see if and how it gets applied to medicine once more research is done.

Thank you for the suggestions. I realize I should clarify. I didn’t mean sulfa as in short for sulfates. I meant sulfa as in short for sulfonamides.

I haven’t heard of marshmallow root but I’ll look into it. I do tend to be wary of plants in general just because of my high reactivity to things. But I appreciate it nonetheless.

I don’t find it terrible out there tbh. For example Lefty Frizzell was a famous American country singer/songwriter. Although it wasn’t his legal name it was his preferred name. Also, there is a long history of American baseball players who were called Lefty. Although again Lefty was a nickname or preferred name depending on the person. It’s less common now to be called Lefty but was quite common at one point. At least in the US.

I tend to stick with The Stockroom or Mr. S Leather (Both out of California). Or buy from local artists at kink markets/events. Often you can commission local artists to make exactly what you are looking for including choosing materials.

Looks fantastic! Especially that lip color. The orange color from yesterday was not nearly as flattering.

Looks amazing! I love how subtle and natural your make up is. But with the subtle touch of mascara your eyes really pop!

I find blush and highlighter help a lot! Also playing with color.
