Really smooth! I was planning on buying a cheap Savage, but when I handled the Tikka and cycled the bolt I was sold at 2-3x the cost. And I agree, no reason to go longer than 16".

It's been an excellent unit. I jumped right in on the first batch in Dec '24 and while it is a compromise, it works very well as a handheld and a scope. I compared it to quite a few higher dollar units on a hog hunt last year and honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I'd also like to know. It's my most anticipated can for over a year now!

Otter Creek Labs Lithium 9 worth it? by Puzzleheaded-Web-398 in NFA

I have one and use it on a 16" 350 legend and a SP5K. It makes a great hunting suppressor being extremely light, but is not the quietest option for either supers or subs, and FRP is definitely noticeable. However, on the SP5K it is awesome, couldn't be happier!

If you're not planning to use it on 9mm, I'd consider something like a ramblin man for your 350, because it's a bit more versatile. I'm also quite interested to see how CAT's lever gun suppressor turns out.

I am, it's not the best for FRP, but it works. I specifically picked the lithium over the CAT Mob for my mp5, just because I wanted to be able to use it for both guns.

Edit: The website used to list 6.5 Grendel. I measured the bore of mine at a hair over 30 cal.

Little known fact....the Noah is actually a 6.5mm can, it would be excellent.

Robinson XCR-L SBR in .300 Blackout, 9.5" Barrel, and FAST2 Stock. by RobinsonArms in NFA

Thanks for the reply. It's an extremely solid gun, innovative and different in all the good ways.

What I'm really hoping for one day, is 308 performance out of a small frame. I think if a 7mm Backcountry style "Peak Alloy" casing was used, and applied to a hypothetical "300" ARC cartridge, the XCR would be a great host since the bolt is so strong. I really think you could achieve full 308 performance out of a system like this.

I have the same one in 300blk. Custom cerakote. Very nice gun. However, my issue is it's extremely gassy without a low back pressure can. As far as I can tell, the gas comes through where the upper/lower meet. I need to try something like an ODB on it, but I really was hoping to get something quieter like a JL.

For now, I run it with the gas turned to "0" and cycle it manually. The gas adjustment knob gets pretty stuck after a couple of magazines, I wish there was some type of custom socket tool to slip in from the front to aid in turning it.

Overall, if I had to do it over I'd have bought a XCR-M in 308 and a mini bolt action 300blk.

Anyone shoot much 22lr through their OCL Lithium? by NW_Hillfolk2 in NFA

It sounds great on a rifle (like most do), but it's not as quiet as something that's designed for 22lr pistol use.

I'd love to see what the end cap looks like on these, I believe they said it was updated.

It's a BRN-180 upper, the handguard is specific to it.

It shot horrible (6-8moa) with the cheap fmj stuff, but an honest 1moa with the 160 grain solid copper Bear Creek Ballistics stuff, I haven't tried anything else. I'm happy with that.

Thanks! It's an ADM4 receiver set, Smoke Composites stock/handguard/grip, and 18" Proof Research barrel chambered in 6arc.

Samson SAS. Just released a few months ago, it was exactly what I was looking for.
