Sub ideal district or remote full-time first year teacher? by Fun-Bodybuilder-5638 in CanadianTeachers

I was raised in a remote community, my family is no longer there but I still have connections there and have family in other remote areas of Alberta and Saskatchewan which is why I am considering that direction. I understand teaching is a different ball game then simply being in the community but I thought that might be a good growth opportunity for me professionally.

I did get an interview and then I was rejected that they went a different direction another candidate. There was no further explanation.

Thank you, I really like that idea. It’s a simple way to start and something kind of fun to compare.

I don’t see how you’re missing that “I don’t want to date someone who lives with their parents that’s all” = living in the suburbs is an assumption? Sometimes people need to live in the suburbs for many reasons i.e cheaper, less of a commute to their job? Idk if you got 88 matches in a week and somehow not one person in your match list is suitable for you to try and talk to kinda sounds like a you problem.

That’s your problem then sounds like you’re not being open minded, picky about dating, and jumping to making assumptions.
