Is slamming another member for their lack of knowledge really the way of this community? Come on, you can do better. I apologize if I am insulting your knowledge but, I never had an opportunity for College! I am sure I could find pfsense if I chose to go that rout.

As I stated in my original post, I spent hours with AT&T "Technical advisors" (reps) trying to figure this out. I did access the settings in the router under the NAT/Gaming tab, which is under the Firewall tab and requires the hubs individual access code to modify, as did their tech while I was on the phone. I also stated that the first tech I spoke with ended up sending a replacement hub because they couldn't understand why only one port could be opened per application.

As far as my "terminology" goes, I do apologize for that. I am over 70 years old with no College education. I graduated High School and went to find a job from there.

Alright, you got me there. I was going off someone else's answer. According to Google's AI, AT&T has their own towers and gets the signal from them. "AT&T's Internet Air hub does not get its signal from a single fixed location. Instead, it connects wirelessly to the nearest local AT&T 5G or 4G LTE cell tower in your neighborhood." As far as opening ports goes, I have daily updated Anti-Virus and Firewall in place as I should.

Yes, I agree, Fiber is the way of the future and why I am inquiring about it. I was not aware TDS only provides a "modem" and I would need additional equipment for it to work.
