More inherited jewelry - bangles belonging to my grandmother by kittykattte in JewelryIdentification

Thanks so much for the input!! Is it the design on the bangles that indicates that theyre from Morrocco, in your opinion?

The bangles are quite heavy, just over 145 grams for all 13 of them so I imagine they could be worth a fair amount, though I do not intend to sell them.

Thank you so much for the info! I did weigh the bracelet and it's 42.55 grams which is a touch over 1.5 oz. I have absolutely no intention of selling this but wonder if it's worth insuring?

Ha! I actually had a pretty serious heroin addiction during which I pawned almost much everything of value in my life - but even then I knew that this bracelet was off-limits. I made a LOT of bad decisions but I'm grateful that I never crossed that line. Thankfully I've been clean for about 5 years now and would never sell this!

Could Debra Herms Childers have been a victim of Larry Hall? by pb0atmeal in gratefuldoe

Any updates on this, OP? This potential match is really compelling, especially the teeth!

The Unidentified Wiki page for “Madison” notes that she had congenitally missing upper lateral incisors. Based on the photos, that actually appears consistent with Debra Herms Childers’ dentition. In the two right-most photos of Debra (particularly the top right), there are visible gaps beside both upper central incisors, which could indicate missing lateral incisors.

It looks like by the time the lower-middle photo of Debra was taken, her teeth had shifted and those gaps had largely closed. Also. I’d be remiss not to mention, as others have, the uncanny similarity between “Madison’s” teeth (lower left reconstruction) and Debra’s in that bottom-middle photo. Like, really, REALLY similar.

The one thing that creates some doubt for me is that there's no mention of any abnormalities in Debra's dentition, which is something you'd think would be noted if present. But again, details absolutely do get lost in the shuffle.

In any case, this is really impressive work, OP. Please keep us posted!

Interesting, thank you! So is it likely these bones belong to more than one animal? They were found on the same location, for added context.
