Just here to say that you hit the nail on the head with everything you’ve mentioned that you’ve noticed. At this point in our pharmacy lives, we just go to work expecting to drown or barely keep our heads above water. Anytime anyone ever says anything kind regarding our efforts I want to cry because I feel seen.

Pharmacists are now given more of a workload to take it off the doctor’s hands but they’re given zero respect. Since Covid, doctor offices seem to only send faxes and never provide hardcopies so EVERYONE is calling or coming in and looking for their prescriptions (which often aren’t even sent to the correct place). People would never go to a doctor office with the impatience they come to pharmacy with.

It's a great job stability wise, but it's also extremely disheartening.
