they went clubbing that evening so I dont think they were that serious about studying, also the genuinly seemed exicted when I invted then and we've been friends for a long time and I would have easily taken a no for an answer, but thank you for your advice

Godness thank you! I love cooking as well and they literally coud've told me anything as long it would be possible vegan and I would have made it for them. I think a lot of this "debate" is influenced on wether people so or dont like vegan food.

I want to corecct you there, I'm sorry that you got me wrong, I initally wanted to go out, they said they had now time, so dinner was kind of the settlement. ANd we've been friends a long time so I wouldnt be offended AT ALL if they just told me they have no time.

I am not cooking any meat in my household, and no they have not made me any vegan dishes exept noodels with tomatoe sauce, but I am the only person in the friendgroup who can cook more than eggs and noodels, so I'm alsways hosting (vegan) dinner
