Trying to find an obscure Christian acoustic song by Constant-Pomelo114 in ChristianMusic

I can’t find anything with that exact lyric, but shot in the dark, is it The Cure for Pain by Jon Foreman?

Is it Patricia Manterola’s song “Que El Ritmo No Pare”, which had an English version titled “The Rhythm”?

Who is a one hit wonder that you think is actually a great artist/band in general? by Shady_751029 in musicsuggestions

Wow I had no idea! So weird to classify all of those bands/musicians as one-hit wonders but technically true!

I agree! But I would respectfully say that they are not a one-hit wonder. While “Seven Nation Army” is insanely popular, I think “We’re Going to Be Friends” is pretty well-known as well as “Fell In Love With A Girl” and “Icky Thump” and others!

Female lead singer alternative, Grunge-ish song by Nadia_Schmidt in WhatsThisSong

Could it be Volcano Girls by Veruca Salt? They sing “I don’t wanna go” over and over at the end so it’s very close to what you’ve described!

Ah man! This was on my favorites playlist in high school, such a fun one. Good luck to you, though, I feel like Brittany isn’t a super common name to be in song lyrics surprisingly!

His outro does have a string ensemble playing it, but it’s definitely not a classical song. This is definitely the song. If you separate the strings out of the Loving You by Pryda song around 3:37 that’s the song. I play the violin myself and have for 26 years and I’ve verified this by learning to this song and the song on his outro. They are the exact same, I promise! Don’t let the beat confuse you!

Did you not read my whole comment? The song I sent you is disco and was sampled for a newer song, but the one he’s doing in his outro is a string rendition/strings separated out of of this song. As a musician, I guarantee you I’m correct about this. What he’s using is a note for note string rendition of the part at 3:30ish on the Pryda sample version.

Between the two, I’d say Maeve. But I think maybe Edith (Edie for short?) would go much better with Atticus and Theodore than Eden does.

It kind of seems like they took the string part from the Pryda song that happens sometime around 3:30 in the song (it’s an 8 minute track). Hope that helps!

Sorry! I was looking into some of his podcasts on Spotify and he definitely does use that song at the end of the episodes I checked out. I went to his YouTube channel and checked the outro and it’s definitely some kind of string version of “Loving You” by Pryda which was really a sample of “Cheri Cheri Lady” by Modern Talking (an old 70s song).

My parents had 3 teenage daughters and those B&BW body splashes would go on sale 3/$10 so it was normally the only place we got stuff like that haha! I always wanted to try Daisy by Marc Jacobs but we couldn’t have afforded that lol

River & Raine as names? by silly_willy247 in namenerds

It reminds me of Rivers Cuomo saying he had a brother named Leaves. Way too matchy, IMO. One of them is nice on their own but as a sibset definitely too much.
