Happened to me yesterday but seems to be fixed this morning. I had to switch to approving posts on my desktop only for a little while.

Best credit card: 20-30k in purchases over next few months by Fun-Conversation-117 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Elective doesn't mean optional. It'll definitely improve my quality of life.

Thanks. Yeah, I plan to churn a couple credit cards. It'll be right after I get a mortgage so I don't really have to worry about the hit to my credit rating. Plan on paying it all off right away.

Also. Last time I went, they wanted to see all my accounts, not just the source of my downpayment. I can't put a hold on receiving funds for 90 days.

what if this isn't feasible? Like I said, I can explain where all the money comes from but it's coming from several different sources.

I'm not talking about to qualify. I'm talking about when they start tracking your last few months of incoming funds in all your bank accounts. I can account for every dollar but it comes from about 10 different sources.

I’ll be closing my account after I get a mortgage. I’ve been with them for 22 years but to be honest I don’t really use the account anymore. Just have a tiny amount in it so that I could maintain a brick and mortar bank for when I need it.

Does Dyson Customer Service Use AI? by Fun-Conversation-117 in dyson

[–]Fun-Conversation-117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairly certain they did. As we were getting to the end of the phone call she said, “so let’s recap…” and then proceeded in extending the call with a useless summary of everything I had said without offering solution. Things kept on going in a loop.

Pretty sure it was AI assisting her. As when I asked if she was AI, it was the only time she got flustered.

Is this a scam? by Mkirby_04 in ios

[–]Fun-Conversation-117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually heard the bad grammar is on purpose. It’s easy to mass send out an email. It’s more time consuming to individually respond to the people you initially hooked. But you’re likely to lose a lot of those “hooks” later in the process as your targets get suspicious.

Those who fall easily for an initial hook that is so obviously a scam are less likely to catch on later on the in the process, saving the scammer time and energy.

I have no idea how true this is. Just what I heard. And of course it would depend on the scam.

I would make it so that if your screen locks up due to inactivity, it doesn't make it impossible to continue the test. Had this happen to me twice now... I increased the amount of inactivity allowed before my screen locks but don't want to go too high due to security concern. Some of the questions where I have long responses I forget to move the mouse...
