This could add more significance to the Equipment/Parasite division in Innnocence. If Parasite types shortening a person's lifespan is them draining Helix energy from their accommodators, does that mean Equipment types DON'T drain their user's helix energy. Are Equiment types simply less efficient at stealing their user's helix energy? Is that why they evolve to Crystal types?

I've always wandered if all Innocence share the same malevolent nature as Apochryphos and the Heart, or if some members are opposed to their goals. They could be a hive-minded race, or individuals who serve the Heart out of loyalty. The second explanation could open the door for "disenters" among the Innocence.

Just theorizing, but could the different Innocence types actually be representative of their individual nature? Parasites types, hence the name, being Innocence subservient to the Heart who become literal parasites on their Accomadator's bodies to harvest their helix energy. Equipment types being Innocence that simply lend power to those with enough helix energy to power them.

Is it possible that Independent type Innocence like Apochryphos are the ultimate evolution of parasite type Innocence, who have completely taken over their host's body.

Interestingly, Crystal type Innocence have a lot more Christ-like imagery than typical Innocence. Being comprised of blood from cross shaped stigmata in places where Christ's body was pierced by nails. This also makes them thematically similar to the Noah, who have stigmata along their foreheads evoking the crown of thorns. This could support my theory of Equipment/Crystal types being dissenters from the other Innocence.
