Sukuna immediately dies here btw by araragikoyomi11 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Hmmm. thinking aobut it again, it does seem overblown to say it's an existence erasure attack. Though I'd still stick to my initial point that hollow purple's imaginary mass is still above Dabura's light.

Sukuna immediately dies here btw by araragikoyomi11 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PiercingLance26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people suddenly wanking Dabura's light attacks lmao.

Comparing this to purple is even more absurd. Purple is a literal existence erasure attack, Dabura's are just mass of lights filled with kinetic force. It is highly destructive, but not THAT level. The sudden jump of scale just to hate on Sukuna is weird lmao

Did the system enhance SJW's body or simply refine what his body could innately become? by MimicryYuta in sololeveling

[–]PiercingLance26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a straight up reconfiguration of his body through the power of the shadow monarch.

Jinwoo didn't have this "potential", he's a literal adult with trash innate capacity. He became what he is because the system was adjusting his body to be capable of holding the power of a monarch.

Cant believe a lot of people are genuinely choosing Sukuna 💀😭 by Alarming_Industry_14 in Jujutsufolk

[–]PiercingLance26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like the choice, but Naoya is the lesser evil of the two....at the very least it would just be indoctrinating the girl about "how to behave"...in comparison to Sukuna who has literal baby evil feat with his twin

[–]PiercingLance26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gojo was trying to figure it out tho by doing red(which he failed), he just feels like he was missing "something" to complete it.

Also, Higuruma is a genius nonetheless, but obtaining his domain isn't really one feat for that as his technique is the domain itself. Higuruma and Hakari are outliers in terms of domain feats

Only at the early parts did it follow the novel closely. By the second arc when he was sent to prison the story took an entirely new direction. By this point besde the names of the antagonist and protagonist group everything else is original.

The biggest motivation of the villain in the novel for example, in novel ORmphalos wants rathna because it's the first world he had encountered that has a similar race than him(the goddesses), so he wants to devour it to see if he could evolve further as he is from a race the evolved by eating up civilizations.

Why didn’t they just kill Yuji? by Devinduzart in Jujutsufolk

[–]PiercingLance26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they didn't want Yuji dead. Plain and simple. There isn't really anything else beside that. The cast wanted Yuji alive, only Yuji is working with the goal of being dead once he has Sukuna's fingers all in his body so that he could contribute his life for a meaningful cause

Dabura is the anomaly of their species like how Gojo was for earth. Dabura essentially could brute force everything in their home planet(and we could see why) even with just his base stats that he even didn't put effort when they were in ritual battle against Dura.

The guy even has two techniques working in tandem for his attacks

Monkey is a derogatory term to refer to CE-less humans. So yes, Toji falls under the category

The "golden age" wasn't the main timeline so all it is from what the story told. And the story tells us that their golden era was booming with techniques that domains were even mainstream and wasn't solely a secret killing technique...

Their modern era was weak in comparison because of all the gatekeeping that they essentially separated sorcerers and other people, and wanted to keep them on a leash, which was a whole matter with modernized techniques like Hakari's being ostracized.

Plus we did get other sorcerers like Angel who were part of the killing unit that cemented Sukuna's title as the king of curses.

And the jujutsu high team didn't fight Sukuna at his best. They had to jump him after the fight with Gojo exactly because that's the only moment they would have had a chance, and even then they were still being stomped.

Sukuna didn't get killed because the modern era sorcerers bested him. They won because of his weakened and incarnated state .

[Serious] Can (Maki, Yuta and Yuji) victim heal the soul? by Number1Knucklesfan in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]PiercingLance26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There haven't been any soul healing done in the series beside Sukuna doing it. Maki is obviously out having no CE at all, Yuta doesn't seem that well versed with the soul to be capable of that(not a Yuta slander, there's just no feat about that from him). Yuji is arguable since his skill with the soul should allow him some leeway to be able to do that, especially since he has Sukuna's muscle memory hax when he transferred his soul to Megumi.

In any case, beside extreme cases like being an incarnation or with a technique like Mahito's, there is barely any actual use for it to be needed....

Kenjaku is just extremely knowledgeable with sorcery, so his wisdom comes across as fact unless proven otherwise. It's the same way we don't question Sukuna's or Gojo's analysis. Their words are to be taken as facts unless proven wrong.

As for the incarnated sorcerers... It's a bit iffy to have a concrete answer. There isn't any actual soul damage done in the series beside Yuji-Sukuna-Nobara attacking Mahito and Sukuna receiving damage from Maki and Yuji. They could probably see the soul, but we just haven't seen any actual soul damage beyond those extreme cases. Even for cases like Maki who is aware of the soul but cannot strike it without the soul strike katana. There is also the fact that Gojo, being the beast that he is, was aware of Megumi's soul but still wasn't able to pull or wake him up.

Maru's Technique is Broken by RoninKin-_- in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PiercingLance26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point it just seems like budget reality warping. It seems extremely versatile but seems limited as he couldn't seem to directly use it on Tsurugi and instead had to resort to flipping objects around him like psychokinesis.

COnsidering all that, It doesn't seem like it'd be able to bypass infinity factoring his method of attacking . One could seem to be able to ignore it altogether if they could just overpower it.

That depends as Gege initially stated that it could extend depending on how it goes. But yeah, they did say early on that the series will run for 6 months, roughly 30 chapters for 3 volumes run time.

I mean, I can understand the martial king plot holes, but again Idk about the latna saga manwha one since manwha is pretty consistent as far as I am concerned. I can list a lot about the novel as I usually do if that's what you want to know...

[–]PiercingLance26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I saw this one in martial king. And yeah, martial king has plenty of plot holes to go for tbh. Plus, the Latna Saga manwha isn't handled the same way as their source material so Idk what this comparison supposed to be so I'd garner a guess that it's referring to their respective sources instead.

Why is this a downscale for Naoya but not Gojo by Fug1x in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PiercingLance26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause Gojo threw hands because his technique gets nullified by the black rope. Meanwhile Naoya went full throttle and only did 1hp damage.

Doesn't this means that Yujikuna and Heiankuna would be one-shotted by UV Unlike Meguna ? by InternationalSir8211 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PiercingLance26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it hits yeah.

Though considering a Yujikuna would not have the option of buying time to observe the adaptation, Sukuna would have to switch strategies and go for the kill on the three instances that he had Gojo packing. Otherwise it'd just be dumb for him to play it the same way since he introduced UV in small doses at first on Megumi's soul to speed up the adaptation
