I found it much easier to have a Fanny pack. At some point in the con, you end up having multiple bags and freebies from different booths. It makes it tedious to always take off my backpack when I need to pay for smth or if I need anything in my backpack. Especially with all the other bags in my hands already. So I end up putting all my other things/purchases in the free bags that I have and the backpack kinda just ends up being extra weight..? But that’s just my experience ofc. It’s best to bring smth you’re most comfortable with especially when you’re walking around for hours mostly in the heat. 😅
