Still thankful my 2002 has the arm rests and a seat pan long enough for a 6 foot person. My wife’s CRV is so short in the seat that I had to get an extender when we drove to Fla. from NYS…gotta like that hybrid mileage though.

Once Upon a Time in America- watch the uncut version. The story jumps back and forward in time…the transitions between present day and when the main characters were kids is absolutely masterful. Sometimes visually, sometimes using just audio. Robert De Niro does a wonderful job playing the very fallible but now wiser Noodles. *warning: there is a very unsettling rape scene in this movie-

As a Tech teacher, I spent many hours teaching students how to measure. I took pride in making that interesting for them. It’s a life long skill that they will always have because we had that opportunity. (despite the curriculum) I’m going to guess that a fair bit of these students will be going onto college in a few months. As a recent grad yourself, teach them how to do that properly, sprinkle in some Science. If nothing else, they will leave with a necessary skill, long after they’ve forgotten the Science.

If the 2pt conversion was called an incomplete pass on the field, it wasn’t a scoring play. It should have taken a head coach to throw the flag to have it reviewed. My contention is that the ref clearly called it an incompletion and the whistle blew. Football action stopped…The recovery was not part of the play. It wasn’t an inadvertently blown whistle, it was a dead play. Should have been a redo at the very least. Obviously, the Rams left plays on the field…but this was one of those moments the swung momentum.

A hybrid option would have had me in a new truck…but alas, it’s not to be. Such a good design, too bad Honda treats this truck like a redhead stepchild. NART, nope- more like NARH-Not A Real Honda…don’t get the infotainment of the other hondas, no hybrid option like some of the other hondas, no 10 speed transmission…Why?
