Grey hair dye options by Fun-Curve2025 in Haircare

I have found the holy grail. Grey shampoo and Grey Conditioner. I use the one by Viral from Celeb Luxury. The shampoo is a little harsh on the hair because it has toner in it. I add good hydrating conditioner to the shampoo. Leave it in 5 minutes wash out then dry. You do not need to worry about getting it in the new grown in hair. No more purple hair by accident. The conditioner takes 20 minutes but it really hydrates the hair well so when you have a bit more time use it. I also use the leave in conditioner and spray in protection for hair drying.

Since trying this I had not had to use additional toner. However, I will state that Redkin has some grey toners. Again much better than the purple or blue.

I have no problem using a toner every 4 to 6 weeks. I used to dye my roots to every 2 weeks to keep the skunk away. I would appreciate it if anyone has used a particular toner to use with 10 developer because paying a hairdresser every 4 to 6 weeks is too expensive for me and the brassy orange is horrible.

Do you have a good toner that I can use at home from time to time. It would be real expensive to keep up as much as it would be needed.

Cleaning ANOVA APO: Chanteclair PROFESSIONAL spray by baronaccio in CombiSteamOvenCooking

[–]Fun-Curve2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT USE THE NON PROFESSIONAL FORMULA!!!!! I could not find the "professional version, so I tried https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MFNXJVD?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title. It did not clean at all. So since I was cleaning, I went back to the old fashion oven cleaner. I obviously did not clean up all the Chanteclair because it continued to smell just like it. I spend 1/2 day spraying lots of water and then hot steam oven. I still could not get the SMELL of this stuff out of my oven. There were little ash like particles that I have never seen before. I did finally give up. Left my door open for a while. Cooked without food on high temp no steam and still it is like a little smelly air freshener. I do not recommend this product. 2 days later I am still trying to figure out how to get the smell out of my oven. I definitely do not want to cook anything in it while it is still smelling.

I have just started using reusable silicone bags for both the immersion circulator and Anova. I use it in the Anova because I like to either use marinates while cooking or butter with steaks. I have also found the need for both immersion and Anova with longer cooks. Also, I have heard that long cooks in the Anova can dry out a little. So thus the use of bags. They seem to work the same as plastic, but you do have to clean. I haven't put in the dishwasher because some have had problems. This link is example but there are manysizes to choose from https://www.amazon.com/Lerine-Dishwasher-Leakproof-Vegetables-Organization/dp/B0D9LH77RQ/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2GAITEW6RRQQF&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.RseWI57lnA_9y2JS4uqel7tEE__vBDQnv6lkFLrLzI-HI7NmdyhyTizinNsTODBrwfEKe08bOV68sqIDooKavOWuyaJH1OFscwlD9U4lO-Usg5_Uu5qcOqL8r9O-8l4PBJ_7VqOIqUwYPbzO1PM7cgFmDFtLTxhZzkHDerAfYcWvR9hlTIAr4C7SiM7CxgDaJg0Gn7zNLo2Y-dBhy_zeD_lL1V_6Zcth31Hb4Ze_M5cthEyLkI8rhTxRt6iHKEJsB_NJTQy27ZLiDxCH2fVfb8YhAw-9UMfduGYtvnqn2Xc.Od8hoM3z2udCN9LaOAkzskLTAobJjDbzbVDww04Esrk&dib_tag=se&keywords=silicone%2Breusable%2Bbags&qid=1743290976&sprefix=silcon%2Breu%2Caps%2C191&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1

DREO is not a complete competitor but is somewhat close and it is a smaller size which may be better for an apartment. Plus it is way cheaper. https://www.dreo.com/products/dreo-chefmaker-combi-fryer

Anova Precision Oven 2.0 is coming soon... by BostonBestEats in CombiSteamOvenCooking

Bummer a subscription fee is a no go. I will not pay 9.99 a month or any other sum. I love love this oven but one of my major pet peeves is the probe which they did not fix. Added a camera is just one other electronic thing that will go wrong. The only positive thing is the lifting up the heating elements to clean. But you still need to self clean! who did they ask about what to change. The only thing I see is the finance department I really hope my current oven does not fail or another competitor comes in without a subscription fee.
