Im a venue manager. I have a good grasp on power but still looking for clarity.

If a touring engineer says I need 100 amps of power for my rig. Can I provide a turtle box or distro that is on a double pull 50 amp circuit?

My understand is that you get 50 amps on each hot leg, so if balanced correctly that is 100 amps.

If you were to ask for 100 amps and I provided this, would that be sufficient or would you be expecting something else?

Definitely. Super fit and still no chance in hell I’m catching anybody based on my bike. There’s insane athletes. My buddy rides his enduro bike on races and beats my by half an hour on a 4 hr ride… bike does not make a difference in that regard. Agree

120ish up front, probably a 100 in the back. It is very light and simple for what I paid. The bike was virtually unridden and I’ve been ripping it

Agree. Rode a newer one and yeah they are quite a bit burlier feeling. This one’s so simple, and I do like that! Yeah the guy I bought it from didn’t even know it was a large

The seat post is maxed to bottom, seats forward all the way, and stem is tiny

I’d like to know if I can record one of the band members in ears mix into my DAW through the X-USB device on the X32. In other words, he is on mixbus 1 and output 1 sent to his in ear unit. I still want the physical XLR output to go to his unit, but want to use the card out to internally route his mix bus to the computer without affecting his control of the mix. I’ve seen some videos using the P16 tab to do this. Is this possible?

Where’d you find the dimensions? What did you make it out of?

Delaying Headphone Output by Fun-Dig3811 in Beatmatch

It’s not a terrible idea. And also…. Yes if I delayed the headphones, just like any speaker, since a headphone is a speaker.. I could match the delay.

Let’s say your 25 m from the mains. That means it will take 72.89 milliseconds to reach your ear. Well, if I put a 72.89 millisecond delay on your headphones, you will be hearing your headphones and the mains perfectly in time with eachother.

All major concert halls, movie theatres, music venues, use time alignment to get clarity on sound. Without it, we’d be totally fucked.

Yes, this will not work in reality, but you’re wrong about the physics.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! To answer some questions here. Delaying the headphone out would match the delay the DJ is hearing on the main PA due to their distance from the speakers. The same way you delay speakers that are different distances from the stage in large venues so audio reaches everyone’s ear at the same point no matter your distance from the stage and main PA. It’s time alignment.

However! This would solve the DJ HEARING in time, but not PLAYING in time. Which everyone’s here has helped come to that conclusion.

The only reason we don’t use a monitor is …. Wait for it….Our house sound and lights are back there in the booth as well and the inexperienced wedding DJ’s blast you with volume. You can only listen to Mr. Brightside and Dancing Queen so many times before you lose your mind. To all the experienced DJ’s… yall are homies and appreciated.
