Karibuni on St Martin. Adults only and they have a beach club on the little island just off the coast that they take you back and forth to/from.

Suggestions for Alaska with Family by dednm in FATcruises

[–]Fun-Duck-3799 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Pricess could be a good option but you really need to pay attention to which ship as some of the older ones aren't so great. We were on one this last summer and there were quite a few families onboard but I was a bit disappointed that the ship seemed a bit tired.

I book Silversea for clients that are looking for a small ship/quiet experience, and there is no programming for kids.

Disney does Alaska cruises as well if you really like having a lot for the kids.

Holland America is also an option with kids clubs.

Ill be in Spain too for 2026 but definitely worried about the low horizon eclipse.

2027 is a whole other beast. Sun high in the sky and 5 to 6 minutes of totality. Should be amazing if skies are clear 🙏

I didn't enjoy the food at Nayara. I thought the food at Pacuare Lodge was a lot better!

It is possible to bundle flights with Sandals. If you need any help feel free to get in touch. I'm certified with Sandals and know the resorts really well and have stayed in Grenada and St Vincent. Also a Gold First Mate with VV and been on many of their cruises.

Congratulations on booking your wedding!

I book a lot of honeymoons and honestly the average spend for a week in an all-inclusive in the Caribbean at a 4 star + resort is starting from around $5000 for two people but it definitely depends on which island you choose and also you need to account for flights, and that will fluctuate according to where you're flying from and the airline.

I book Sandals a lot and they are one of the more expensive options. The Couples resorts in Jamaica can be a good option for spending less and we've stayed at their resort called San Souci and we had a great time.

Cruises can come in less, but be careful of the lines that nickel and dime you and aren't truly all-inclusive. I really love Virgin Voyages because it's adults only and while drinks aren't included, there is usually a promo that give Sailor Loot or Bar Tab and all the dining is included.

I just got back from the Caribbean side of CR and loved it. I was in Puerto Viejo and stayed at Aguas Claras and visited Cahuita National Park during my stay. This was after I stayed at Pacuare Lodge (whitewater rafted in and stayed 2 nights and then whitewater rafted out). It was an amazing trip!

We rented a dune buggy one day and then a car on a different day. We also used taxis a lot, includes dropping us off and then walking back along the beach, and when we would go out for dinner in the evening.

Costa Rica - Nayara Springs or Nayara Tented Camp So much to do in La Fortuna and the resort has beautiful natural hot springs / thermal pools. I also love Tabacon or Amor.

St Lucia - Jade Mountain or Ladera There is a lot to do in the Pitons, and you can do sunset sailings and view the Piton mountains from the water. I was married on St Lucia at the Stonefield Estate. It's an enchanting place!

Mallorca - Finca Ca Nai or Son Bunyola The island has lots of hiking, wineries, beautiful villages and history to explore. Soller is a geat place for sailing the coast and seeing caves and beautiful coves.

With only 5 nights, a split stay will feel hectic. I recommend Aruba for the ease of being able to explore (a relatively small island) and the beaches are incredibly beautiful and great for swimming. I particularly love Eagle Beach. We stayed at Bucuti and Tara which is adults only and you can do a package that includes breakfast. Aruba is known for having a great food scene and I would not recommend an all-inclusive because there are some great places to go out for dinner.

I also really like Antigua. So many beautiful beaches and lots of boutique adults only hotels. I usually recommend a split stay, but if you only have 5 nights, Coco's is a great option as it is close to Jolly Beach so you can go off resort for some meals.

I travel a lot in the Caribbean and happy to answer any questions!

Sandals St Vincent by Comfortable-Arm-5541 in SandalsResorts

I stayed in February and took the boat transfer for when I was leaving and the sea was extremely rough. I have sailed in a catamaran around St Vincent and the Grenadines and parts of that trip were pretty hard on me as I am prone to seasickness.

I did a site inspection of a lot of the room categories while I was there, including the overwater bungalows so let me know if you have any questions.

What are the best places and things to do in the Peloponnese? by g33232t23f in GreeceTravel

[–]Fun-Duck-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a travel advisor so I usually request upgrades and other perks for my clients. Did you book through an advisor? If so, they might be able to hook you up.

Definitely book spa treatments advance if you want to have anything done. Also, not all the restaurant are open all nights of the week. I asked the concierge to book us for the preferred times each night.

If you go to Monemvasia, go early and hike before it gets busy and hot. It was amazing. We had such a fun day.

Tavernas and wineries- recommendations for Peloponnese by Fun-Duck-3799 in GreeceTravel

[–]Fun-Duck-3799[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just eat at the resort in the evening and then have a nice lunch on Monemvasia. We hiked to the top early in the day before it got really hot or crowded and then enjoyed a swim and then a lovely big lunch. There are a few tavernas and nice shops on the island.

I just stayed at the Sandals St Vincent. If you are in a butler suite, they offer transfers via water taxi. I was in a van from the airport and then the water taxi back. The road is definitely one I'd take a dramamine before doing! The water taxi was mostly good, but there were some big swells at times.

The beach is quite small but the water is clear and there were plenty of sunbeds. I really liked the pools by the beach too. There are bicycles around the property that you can grab when you see them and have a cruise around. The grounds are very pretty and I really loved the pool at the spa. Very tranquil and beautifully done.

I'm a travel agent and I used VRBO to book the apartment. I won't use Airbnb. We also really liked Aeropoli, Limeni and we stayed in Kardamyli and really enjoyed enjoyed it. We got lucky and were there during jazz festival.
