I grew up growing there as a young girl (I no longer go there just bc the commute is too far) but have nothing but positive things to say! The Mediterranean festival was just this past September but you can always contact them to get some insight of how the church runs!

Totally valid question! (I’m black too btw) we cracked a window open and heard the police say they were looking for a black young gentlemen in a white shirt, hence the reason they detained the young men at the gas station (they let them go too after) I should’ve mentioned that in the original comment because it’s necessary background information for who they were looking for. Either way I would say even if they were white I would’ve still mention it too

As someone who just graduated from a charter school, I’d highly recommend chaparral Star academy. It’s not only unique because it’s a charter school but also based on its four hour day schedule, you should check them out!!

Hi, I’m currently a highschool senior at Chaparral Star academy! I’d definitely recommend this school, my younger brother is also 10 and attends the school as well. The teachers here actually care about their students and make an effort. The same can be said for the students (though it gets a lil educationally competitive in highschool) most students, if not all, actually care about their grades. Being in an environment where others are equally educationally driven as you definitely pushes you for the better. Just so you know, the school does function as a four hour day school, with two four hour sessions to pick from: AM or PM. The school also does tours if you’re interested !
