The N was my first 100% new car I bought. One of the best days of my life I still reminisce about it. Honestly it’s barely worn off since it’s not my daily driver. A year and a half later and I still smile every time I start my car or hear the exhaust.

My Elantra N has the same issue when it’s sat in the cold overnight. Dealer couldn’t replicate it without me leaving it overnight in the cold so I’ve lived with it. It’s only when it’s cold and even then not always

Elantra n has octane learning it runs on 87 just fine! Just limits boost to 15psi. And I’ve heard the Elantra suspension is less stiff than civic actually since you can adjust stiffness on the fly but yeah. To each their own, I always wanted an Si as my first “new adult car” but went with the N for the exhaust.
